A Simple Interrogation

"I'm awake, you know. I was only taking a little rest outside of the truck."

Isra appears outside from the side of the truck.

"I thought you were dead?!"

"Now why would I be dead? I had a great sleep though."

"Well I'm glad that you're alive. I thought you were going to die because of this guy's ability."

Ava speaks up first.

"He's awake."

I looked at him just like the others. He wakes up blinking his eyes because of the blood that was dripping into his eyes and then he sees us staring at him. I could already see him sweating from the sun shining onto him.

"Should we start?" I said.

'I'm ready." Ava agrees.

'Start what?" Isra asked.

"Just a little interrogation that we're about to do."

"Oh…Oh then I'll just go over here and just enjoy the view. I don't want anything to do with this. I've never tortured a hu- I mean I don't want to get anywhere involved in this at all."

Isra backs out and out of view of us.

"Now this time I won't let you ever escape ever again."

Ava climbs in and grabs the knives that she had attached to her. He started to cry out of nowhere.

"Don't worry, I'll just hurt a little. He tried to yell. He let out a little yell but Ava covered his mouth with a branch that she must've found on the ground.

(The scene was to graphic for viewers to see)

*10 minutes*

"Well that took a while." Ava says.

"Well that's because you didn't let him speak. You even forgot to take the branch out of his mouth before he told us."

"Oh yeah you're right."

Isra walks to the truck looking in the truck where we were.

"Are you both done?"

"Yeah we got a lot of good information from him."

"It seems like you both have experienced this kind of thing."

Ava and I looked at each other and looked back at Isra.

"We don't." We said it at the same time.

"I don't like doing this kind of thing but he stomped on my arm so much that it's taking a while for my arm to heal even with my powers." I said.

"He should be fine." Ava said.

Isra looks behind us and sees him crying on the floor. Isra couldn't see anything else because of how dark it was.

"...I think you both completely lost your minds."

"It happens doesn't it with the world that we live in and Ava is the one that did most of it. Oh right, I finally found out what was irritating me."

(During the interrogation)

"MUGhmuhgmguhm!!"

"What did you say?"

"Hold on Ava, you need to take the branch out of his mouth first."

"Oh right." Ava takes the piece of branch from his mouth.

"Please stop! I'll tell you just stop trying to cut off my leg with that knife of yours!"

"Now tell us everything you know."

"Yes, Anything! My abilities, military ranks, monsters, food locations, anything!"

"You said food location right?"

"Yes! You should be able to find them in Cinder City."

"Where is that?"

"Ju-just drive through Feller Road and you should be able to get there."

"One other thing?"

He shivers in fear

"Ye- yes?"

"Tell me why were you in the truck when I first saw you?"

"Oh that? Some military people picked me up."

"Ava."

I had Ava dig into his leg more until it had reached his bone where I could hear a crack sound. His leg should be completely broken now.

"Is that all?"

"No! Before they picked me up I traveled with some people. They were not in their right minds. You see they were f**king cannibals and phycos. They used me as bait to lure some random people into helping me."

"Was that dying woman talking about those people instead of the monster?"

"The woman that was getting carried by her husband?"

"So you do know."

"Yes, at that time I was in the truck that you found me in. The monster that you were talking about must be the one that those psychos were controlling."

"Oh, it seems interesting, tell me more."

"While I was trying to survive on my own I came across a store full of food in the back of it. And so I went to take them. But as soon as I got closer it smelled like rotten flesh and then behind the counter was a small monster of some kind. I was about to run away but someone had knocked me out unconscious.

"When I woke up I was tied onto a pole in an adult's bar. I was half naked at the time, don't ask me why. Those psychos were cheering on the monster to eat me but then some guy barged through the door. Stopping the monster by just showing palm to the monsters. And then it just stopped right when it was about to eat my buttocks."

"There wasn't any need to know that part."

"Where was it again that you said the food was at?"

"Cinder City."

"Good."

I stepped right between his legs and a little higher. He started to squeal after I did that.

(Back to the present)

"And then I realized that I just hated his guts."

"All of that was just for that?"

"We did find out what danger we'll be heading to so it wasn't just for that."

We heard a sound from the truck. The engine of the truck started to start up and other sounds could be heard from it. The surface of the truck seemed to have changed gradually.

"It can't be? Ava do you still have the ball in the bag?"

"You mean the hovercycle? I left it in the driver seat."
