"The question you should be asking is if you will do anything that will require me to have to kill you" said Romanoff as he smiled in a very chilling way.
"No… of course not" said Natasha as she replied.
"Great, then there is nothing for you to worry about" said Romanoff as he smiled and his coldness disappeared, even though the truth was that he did not trust her at all, she was stubborn, he could see it in her eyes.
"Ha" said Natasha as she scoffed, she did not know whether to laugh or to cry, this man, he killed her mother, yet he claimed to care for her mother, he just threatened her, and now he went back to acting like nothing was wrong at all, he was heartless so heartless.
"Relax devochka (girl)" said Romanoff as he smiled, he could see her mind was wandering, she was thinking about something.
"You tell me to relax, how am I sure that I am safe with you?" asked Natasha as she scoffed.
"You speak the truth" said Romanoff as he smiled, he loved the way she thought, she was not as innocent as she looked, and that was a good thing because innocence got you nowhere in this world.
"But if there is someone you can trust it is me, and if there is someone you should not trust, then that would be me as well" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"So you are telling me not to trust you?" asked Natasha.
"That is up to you to decide" said Romanoff as he smiled and Natasha sighed, she was getting nowhere with this.
"You killed my dad too didn't you?" asked Natasha casually as there was no other way to rephrase it.
"Your Father is dead?" asked Romanoff as he looked surprised and Natasha shot him a look that read "Don't act like you don't know" because this guy had said that he had been watching her, so of course he knew.
"Why do you look at me like that?" asked Romanoff as he smiled.
"Don't act surprised, you knew already didn't you?" asked Natasha.
"Alright I admit that I know" replied Romanoff as he smiled.
"So you admit that you killed him as well?" asked Natasha as there was no ounce of fear in her, all she wanted to know was the truth and nothing more.
"I did not kill him" replied Romanoff as he sounded very serious.
"I don't believe you" said Natasha.
"The nurse at the retirement home told me that someone came to see my Father claiming to be his brother" said Natasha.
"I assure you Natasha, I was not that man" said Romanoff.
"Then who was it?" asked Natasha as Romanoff seemed to be thinking.
"Igor" said Romanoff to himself, he was sure that it had to be him.
"You know who it was don't you?" asked Natasha as Romanoff looked at her.
"That is not important right now" said Romanoff as he smiled, he did not want to tell her anything, to him the little devochka was too unstable, her thoughts could run wild, and the less she knew the better for her.
"Alright, fine, don't tell me" said Natasha as she smiled.
"It is for the best" said Romanoff.
"Who do you work for?" asked Natasha as she threw him another question, Romanoff smiled, he felt like he was being interrogated, which was funny, he was usually the one asking the questions and not the other way around, but this little niece of his seemed eager to find out more, like she had been saving all these questions in her head.
"I work for the Russian Government" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"Which part of it?" asked Natasha more specifically and Romanoff narrowed his eyes at her, she was asking questions that could get her killed.
"The government in general" replied Romanoff.
"What do you do exactly?" asked Natasha as she ignored his vague reply.
"I do many things" said Romanoff.
"You kill people right?" asked Natasha as she knew she was asking dangerous questions right now, but he owed it to her to make sure to answer all her questions.
"Yes" replied Romanoff.
"You gather valuable information from other countries right?" asked Natasha.
"You are asking questions too dangerous to be asked in this sort of environment" said Romanoff.
"You never know who might be listening" said Romanoff as he tapped his left ear with his left index finger and he smiled.
"Natasha, here you are, I have been looking for you everywhere" said Dom as he walked into the room and he saw Natasha, he was worried after he thought that she was spending way too long in the ladies room, so he went to look for her, and he ended up here, he could hear voices from the hallway.
Natasha sighed, why did Dom have to come at this moment when she was only starting to get the answers that she needed.
"What are you doing here?" asked Dom.
"I got lost" said Natasha as she replied and she looked at Romanoff, and it was then that Dom noticed Romanoff.
"Yes, the lady got lost, and I was just assisting her" said Romanoff as he smiled and he looked at Dom as Natasha narrowed her eyes at him.
"I see" said Dom as he found something strange about this man.
"Yes" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"But well now that your friend is here, I will take my leave now" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"It was nice meeting you once again Natasha" said Romanoff as he smiled and he caught Natasha off guard as he gave her a kiss on her right cheek as he whispered in her ear.
"Meet me in Moscow next month if you want more answers" he said as he smiled and he walked away.
"Goodbye" said Romanoff as he smiled at Dom and he left the room while Natasha was still thinking… he told her to meet him in Moscow next month??
"Natasha, who was that man?" asked Dom as he snapped her out of her thoughts, he did not believe the story of her being lost, and he did not trust that man at all.
"I really don't need to answer your question" said Natasha as she sighed.
"Alright, but was he the man that you are looking for?" asked Dom.
"Didn't you say that you would not ask me any questions?" asked Natasha.
"Fine, you are right, I won't ask you anything anymore" said Dom as he sighed, he knew he would regret agreeing not to ask her anything at all.
"Let's just go, I'm tired" said Natasha.
"Alright then" said Dom as Natasha walked past him and he sighed, this was going to be very difficult.
Dom followed after Natasha, the only thing on her mind was what Romanoff had said to her, everything still did not make sense, but one thing she knew was that she was going to meet him like he had told her to.
…
The next day,
Dom closed the boot of his car, they were driving back home today, if they were lucky and there was no traffic, they should be back home before afternoon time.
"Did you forget anything?" asked Dom as he got into the driver's seat and he looked at Natasha as she sat in the back, that seemed to be her favourite spot in his car.
"No" replied Natasha rudely, she was not a child that needed to be taken care of.
"Alright then" said Dom as he sighed, this was going to be a long ride home, and especially with Natasha being in a bad mood like always.
Dom started the car as they drove away, he looked at her reflection in the rear view mirror, he had not asked her a single question about last night, and it was obvious that she was adamant on not telling him anything at all, so Dom just decided to be quiet.
…
Dom parked the car in front of a house he knew all too well, he had grown up here, well it was more like he had two houses, his parent's house and his Grandparent's house.
Natasha did not waste a single second as she got out of the car and she walked to the front of the door as she did not bother pressing the doorbell, no one ever paid any attention to it at all, so Natasha just opened the door as she walked into the house.
"Natasha??" asked Ernest in surprise as he just happened to come out from the direction of the kitchen.
"Hello Grandfather" said Natasha as she smiled and she gave Ernest a hug as Dom walked into the house.
"Oh my dear, this is such a surprise, I did not know you were coming over" said Ernest as he smiled and Natasha broke their hug.
"Well I wanted it to be a surprise" said Natasha as she smiled.
"And surprise me you did" said Ernest as he smiled and Natasha smiled at him.
"Good afternoon Grandfather" said Dom as he smiled.
"Dominic, you two came together?" asked Ernest in surprise.
"We happened to meet on the way" said Natasha as she replied.
"I see" said Ernest as he smiled and he gave Dom a look that read "We need to talk" and Dom nodded.
"Grandfather where Is my baby?" asked Natasha as she smiled and she looked around.
"Ahh well my precious great granddaughter went out to the garden with Alfred and Lulu" said Ernest as he smiled.
"They should return any minute now" said Ernest as suddenly the sound of a door closing not too far away sounded as footsteps and voices could be heard.
"Mommy!!! Mommy!!" shouted Joy in surprise as she caught sight of her mother as she turned to the corner.
"My baby!!" said Natasha as she smiled and she spread her hands out wide as Joy ran towards her and Natasha picked her up as she rained kisses on her.
"Oh I missed you, I missed you my baby" said Natasha as she smiled and she gave Joy kisses which made her giggle.
"I missed you too mommy" said Joy as she giggled and Ernest smiled.
"Hey what about me?" asked Dom as he smiled and Joy finally noticed him.
"Daddy!!" said Joy as Natasha put her down and she ran to hug Dom.
"Hello my Princess" said Dom as he smiled.
"I missed you too daddy!!" said Joy as she giggled in happiness, she was happy that both her parents were finally back.
