Childhood Memories XII

"This Is not fair, this is so not fair" said Lia to herself as she frowned, why did she have to be friends with Natasha, just because everyone else was?? It was not fair at all, she had only gone away for the summer, and now this Natasha girl had just appeared, and now everyone seemed to like her.

"I don't have to be nice to her, I don't like her" said Lia to herself, being the only child and daughter of her parents, her father always told her that she could do whatever she wanted, and that she did not need to answer to anyone.

"But… but If I'm not nice to her… then Dom won't like that" said Lia to herself as she was contemplating, she was deep in thought, her five year old mind could not comprehend that she was being replaced by another girl, her place in the fried group was being threatened, she has always been the only girl that everyone doted on, and now… she wasn't, she had to share the attention, and that made her boil, she never had to share any of her things with anybody, they were hers, and hers alone.

"Oh why did she have to move here?? Just why?? She should have stayed wherever it is that she came from" said Lia as she groaned.

"Hello Lia!!" came Natasha's cheerful voice as she ran towards Lia and she gave her a hug which caught Lia by surprise.

"I told you not to hug me, I don't like it when you do that" said Lia as she moved Natasha away from herself.

"Sorry" said Natasha as Lia dusted herself off as if she had been touched by someone with dusty hands.

"But I was very happy to see you" said Natasha sadly.

"I can imagine, everyone is always happy to see me" said Lia confidently as she smiled.

"Ooooh" said Natasha in awe, ever since she had met Lia, she had always looked up to her, she admired Lia's confidence and bravery, Lia always asked for what she wanted, and she got it, which was something she always often bragged about.

But most of all Natasha was happy to have a friend that was a girl just like her, and what was even better was that she was also friends with the boys as well.

"My Mommy said that I can play outside today, so do you want to play?" asked Natasha with her big doe eyes as she smiled at Lia.

"Alright fine, we can go and see if the boys are in the park already" said Lia as she began to walk and she did not even wait for Natasha as Natasha happily followed behind her.

"Lia, how old are you??" asked Natasha as she spoke and she smiled at Lia walked ahead of her.

"I'm five" said Lia as she did not look back at all.

"That' nice, I will also be five very soon" said Natasha as she smiled.

"So that means that you are older than me?" asked Natasha.

"Yes I am" said Lia.

"When is your birthday Lia?" asked Natasha.

"March 3rd" replied Lia.

"Oh that is very far away, I will get you a birthday present" said Natasha as she giggled.

"If you do get my a present, make sure it is of high quality, and if you cannot get something like that, I prefer cash" said Lia as she smiled, she had heard her father say that over the phone many times.

"Okay" said Natasha as she giggled and she and Lia heard the noises of shouting as they finally reached the park and they saw Dom and the others already playing with their soccer ball.

"Hello!!!" said Lia happily as she ran to where Dom and the rest were as they got distracted and they all turned to look at Lia.

"Hello Lia" said Dom as he smiled.

"Hi Lia" said Charlie as he smiled.

"Hi Lia" said Michael as he smiled.

"Hello Lia" said Zavi as he smiled and he waved at Lia.

"Hellooo" said Natasha as she smiled happily and she walked behind Lia.

"Hi Natasha" said Dom, Charlie and Michael at the same time while Zavi just kept quiet.

"Let's play before it's dinner time" said Lia as she giggled.

"Well alright" said Dom as he turned to look at the others, well now that the girls were here, they had to make sure to play carefully, so they won't get hurt.

"We were already playing soccer, do you want to join?" asked Michael as he smiled.

"Yes yes, let's play soccer" said Natasha as she giggled and she nodded her head.

"Okay then" said Charlie as he smiled.

"No!" said Lia as she refused and everyone turned to look at her.

"I don't want to play soccer!!" she said as she crossed her hands over her chest and she pouted, she never liked soccer, she did not want to run.

"Okay" said Dom as by now he was used to Lia's bad attitude, but he knew a way to work around it.

"So what do you want to play?" he asked her as Lia started to think.

"Hmmm…." Said Lia.

"How about Princess Rescue?" asked Lia as she smiled, now that was a game she would like to play, and not one that involved running and chasing after a ball.

"Okay then" said Dom.

"Sure" said Michael as by now he knew it was either Lia got what she wanted, or they would be in big trouble since she would end up crying.

"Okay" said Charlie.

"What is Princess Rescue?" asked Natasha as she was confused.

"Well…" said Dom as he was cut off by Lia.

"There is a Princess, she is trapped in the tower, and the Knights have to come and rescue her" said Lia as she explained happily.

"Oooh okay" said Natasha as she nodded her head, now that made sense.

"Yes, and I am the Princess" said Lia as she smiled happily.

"Lia, you are always the Princess, how about you let Natasha be the Princess this time?" asked Dom.

"Yes Dom is right Lia, let Natasha be the Princess" said Michael as he smiled and Charlie agreed with him.

"No, no, no NO!" said Lia as she threw a tantrum, they were trying to replace her again, it was not fair.

"I want to be the Princess, I am always the Princess!" said Lia.

"Oh Lia, don't throw a tantrum now, be nice" said Charlie.

"No, no!" said Lia as she was not budging at all.

"I want to be the Princess!" said Lia.

"It's okay Lia, you can be the Princess, I don't want to be a princess" said Natasha.

"I want to be a knight!!" said Natasha with stars in her eyes, she preferred being a knight rather than a pampered Princess who would stay locked up in the tower.

"Alright then, it's settled, Lia you can be the Princess, Natasha will be a knight" said Dom as he smiled at Natasha.

"Hmm better" said Lia as she seemed to calm down now.

"But who ever heard of a girl being a knight, girls are supposed to be Princesses, you are weird" said Lia as she looked at Natasha and Michael shook his head.

"That's not true, I am not weird at all, my mommy says that I can be whoever I want to be, I can be a princess, or a knight, or a spy" said Natasha as she giggled and Charlie smiled, to be honest, he preferred Natasha over Lia, she was much more well behaved and nicer than Lia.

"Ugh whatever" said Lia as she scoffed.

"So who are going to be the knights to rescue me, and who is going to be the one who makes sure I don't escape?" asked Lia.

"I want to be the knight who traps Lia" said Michael as he smiled.

"I'm with you on that Michael" said Charlie as he laughed.

"Okay then me, Natasha and Zavi will be the rescue knights" said Dom.

"Okay, okay" said Lia as she smiled, she really hoped that Dom would rescue her.

"I will rescue you Lia" said Zavi as he smiled.

"Hmm okay" said Lia as she walked to the playground, the slide would be her tower.

"Don't let the prisoner… I mean princess escape" said Charlie as he laughed and he followed after Lia.

"Yes yes" said Michael as he followed after Charlie.

"Well we need a plan" said Dom as he turned to look at his fellow knights.

"Come on, lets go hide so they cannot hear us" said Dom as he placed the ball on the ground.

"Okay" said Natasha as she skipped happily after Dom and Zavi followed.

"So who has a plan?" asked Dom as they were hiding behind the trees.

"I have nothing" said Zavi.

"Oooh I know" said Natasha.

"We need code names, so we can be very, very sneaky" said Natasha as she giggled.

"Good Idea Natasha" said Dom as he smiled.

"Thank youuu" said Natasha as she giggled.
