"You couldn't do that a little earlier?" Devotion asked, gasping for air. That had been dangerous. He hadn't realized just how bad his injuries were. At that rate, he wouldn't last an hour in the Training Grounds. Leza reached the same conclusion.
"I thought I'd have a bit more time before you were unconscious on the ground." Leza replied, stepping forward. She was unscathed in this fight, the polar opposite to the hundreds of cuts currently covering Devotion's body.
"In my defense, I was conscious. Ysmir and I were going to jump him from behind once he walked passed us.
"Would that be before or after he stabbed you? You know, since he was about to." Leza questioned.
"Alright, fine. Sorry that I'm critically injured and still put myself in mortal danger to help you out." Devotion "apologized."
