The four warriors from Asgard unleashed their full strength, their exceptional combat skills delivering significant damage. Yet, to the Destroyer, this was merely a reduction in health points.
Before long, they were overpowered and scattered like S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. The Destroyer's high-temperature energy rays swept across the area, causing massive explosions and spreading fires.
Smoke billowed over the town, flames reaching the sky as residents fled in panic and screamed in terror.
From Asgard, Loki watched with a malevolent grin. His face was filled with satisfaction and contempt as he observed, "That's right. These mortals have no idea of the power of the gods."
His gaze was cold, filled with disdain and arrogance.
Just when it seemed all hope was lost, a plasma cannon shot directly at the Destroyer. The destructive force began to dent the seemingly indestructible armor, eventually causing it to explode.
Loki was momentarily stunned and then furiously demanded, "Who did that?"
The Destroyer turned, and through its emotionless mask, Loki saw two figures who infuriated him further: a bald man and a young girl—the very ones who had disrupted his magic projection.
"Kill them!" Loki ordered with a snarl.
Before the Destroyer could act, Gali burst into action. With a surge of violent lightning, she kicked out in mid-air, her heel unleashing a powerful force.
Buzzing!
In an instant, Gali struck the Destroyer with immense force. Yet, the silver-white metallic bands of the Destroyer's body barely shifted, and it quickly countered by grabbing her foot and throwing her away.
"What is this?!" Gali's eyes widened in shock. Despite the overwhelming power she exerted, it seemed ineffective.
As she adjusted her position mid-air, a blast of golden light energy surged toward her. The air around it was scorched and crackling.
Gali, being a robot, maintained her composure. Using her advanced calculations, she raised her hands to create a thick silver mirror shield. The golden energy hit the shield directly, causing it to crack with a series of "clicks."
Crack!
The shield shattered, and the energy beam struck Gali, propelling her body through the air.
Boom!
An explosion erupted, sending residential buildings into fiery fragments.
"Is she dead?" one of the Immortal Palace's warriors asked, stunned by the speed of the battle.
"No, I believe this level of damage isn't fatal," Coulson said, frowning as he directed his communicator to focus satellite attention on the battle. He needed to gather all available strength for the ongoing conflict.
Sure enough, a figure emerged from the ruins, badly burned but with a faint silver-white metallic sheen visible beneath the damage. The skeleton beneath was severely distorted but quickly began to reform.
Gali's body exuded a cold temperature that extinguished the flames. Her fluid-like skin regenerated, and she stepped forward as if nothing had happened, ready to continue the fight.
She kicked off with a sonic boom, launching herself back into the fray. The Destroyer watched her movements, adjusting its metal body slightly in response. It swiftly seized Gali's fists in a vice-like grip.
"The power is far superior to mine, and while its speed is not as fast as I am, its instincts are remarkably strong. This powerful robot seems to be controlled by someone less skilled," Gali analyzed, quickly processing the data from her combat system.
"However, with its super resilience and high concentration of unknown energy, the outcome is uncertain."
Despite the odds, Gali refused to back down.
"Boom boom!"
Gali transformed her entire body into various weapons—chainsaws, electric knives, and warhammers. She assaulted the Destroyer with a relentless barrage of attacks.
The Destroyer's body rippled like the surface of a lake, the attacks barely affecting it.
Boom!
Gaps in the Destroyer's metallic strips widened, and fiery energy burst from the openings, forcing Gali backward.
Gali, flying through the air, stabilized herself and scanned the Destroyer's face, which now displayed an unprecedented energy index.
With urgency, she lowered her stance, pushing her right hand forward. Golden edge marks flowed along her arm as the energy core concentrated into six spouts on her clenched fist.
"Burning cannon, fire!" she commanded.
A fierce red energy blast surged toward the Destroyer.
The Destroyer's face mask opened to reveal darkness. In less than a second, the golden energy swirled, forming a pillar of light that shot back at Gali.
Red and gold energy clashed, creating chaotic airflow before the impact.
Bang!!
A deafening explosion erupted, creating a small mushroom cloud of smoke and flames reaching into the sky.
It seemed like an even match, but a golden light emerged from the smoke, revealing the greater power.
Gali had anticipated this and narrowly dodged the blast, propelling herself into the horizon.
Gali looked down, shocked to see her large headlights obliterated.
"Oh no!" she thought. She wanted to cry, but as a robot, she had neither tears nor fuel to shed. Instead, she flipped sideways in distress.
Suddenly, she noticed the Destroyer charging at her. Realizing the danger, she braced herself.
Boom!
The Destroyer slammed into Gali, creating a crater filled with cracks.
Loki, watching closely, noted Gali's previous recovery and ordered the Destroyer to release another devastating beam.
The golden light flickered, warping space around it.
At such a close range, if Gali were hit, even her resilient metal would be instantly obliterated and unable to reconstruct.
"What to do?" The Immortal Palace members were anxious, considering stepping in.
"Die," Loki's lips curled into a sinister smile as he commanded.
The golden light energy exploded, targeting Gali in the crater directly.
