Her ghostly features shined, the sun tugged exhibiting her beauty despite the old rags hugging her, the clinking coins of gold clinging her chest. Swam of people rustled screaming and yelling through the guard's armor-plated shields of silver which barriers the rich from the poor. Mournful cries echoed the thick air which whispered and swayed the trees to and fro. Her dirty cloak concealed her beauty. She gulped dashing through the streets for life, a skeleton figure blocked her way, eyes blanked, bald head held high and exotic features, "Maddox" she whispered before her orbs darkened doubtless she was lost in another world.
"Aerial?" he recalled irritated by the child's' behavior despite the fact she was the key for their survival. A gush of wind flew past her; she cringed as it howled, Faint whispers of calling took control over her unconsciously as her gaze fixed towards the sacred mountains. A grasp of a skeleton hand took place with hers repurchased her to her senses as she flinched in fright. What was that? she wondered before shrugging and drawing her attention back to the lanky man fleeing away from the horde of people, she sharply gasped as they abruptly halted. Peeping through the streets a sharp screeching voice caught her ears " What was that?" he whispered "I don't know" was all she said before banging her front door open and shutting it to his face. The front door was flashed open, standing there the head guard fuming, he bulged his eyes " Is that the way ---how dare---- you! Where are your manners!" he blabbered sentences unable to speak his mind, no wonder why the poor hated the rich she thought.
Aerial POV
The days weren't any better eerie nightmares kept haunting making my bones grow cold and leaving dark circles under my eyes. Mother and Father were met with an accident so I had to live with my Aunt but I left the abusive drunkard once I was eighteen
I felt a new power radiating through me every night bruising my skin and even controlling me. Anger, anger collided erasing my innocence and demanding to be released so the only option was to let the demon out making things worse. It even made me burst out for the smallest things. This all began on my eighteenth birthday.
I was cut out of school lacking control over my behavior.
~~FLASHBACK
**I was sitting patiently eyeing my middle school crush may be looking like a creep. Hell, how did I even had a crush on this guy! Ew, he was sticking up his finger in his nose and digging vigorously. It was not my fault though he looked really cool at that time, he was a cool guy, god knows what happened to that guy.
I was taken out of my thoughts when Bella had pushed off a girl towards the lockers holding her hand pressing the neck of the victim tightly. Sh*t! she looked like she was chocking her, Hell she was why the hell did I even use the word 'looked" she indeed was.
Anger consumed me flaming my face, the burning sensation grew shattering the hall lights darkening the hallways as people recorded the scene without helping the victim. After a few minutes, the lights were clicked on to find me punching Bellvina non-stop as mournful wails escaped her lips. Her plump features were now bleeding wildly. What had I done!
~~End of Flashback
"Aerial, the stars have darkened losing all their color if it continues Luna shall fall apart," Maddox uttered concern laying in his lips. The clouds concealed the joyful sun as rain chattered hitting the floor hard. Heat radiated from my chest as I clutched the necklace my mom had given, what he had spoken was true mother showed her feelings through the necklace all the time.
"What do you want me to do about it? I haven't even found my powers yet!" I yelled anger blowing through my face. A letter flew floating touching my black muddy boots. The black ink jotted neatly were now dogged from the rain." The royal wanted you to have it." he stated before running out off the clank, dirty dustbin which I call my cottage.
Dear Aerial,
Your mother was just as powerful as you are. Everything is getting worse, you must find your powers or we shall die, we are so grateful to Amelia for gifting us with a key for the survival against the Dytoens. We shall meet you tomorrow at noon for tea. Thank you.
p.s follow our orders.
Yours sincerely,
The royal family.
what am I a dog? to follow orders!? I wish I was the one gone not my mother I thought plopping on my hard cardboard bed to drift to sleep.

Listening to the droplets of rain chattering softly she thought of the pain, the sorrow, and melancholy of her life. After a matter of seconds, her eyelids were heavy like carrying a pack of potatoes due to her lack of sleep from nightmares where they kept harassing and haunting her every night. Closing her eyes slowly, she wandered off to Lala land and everything around her disappeared.
