Daniel bumped him back, grinning, and they walked close together.

After spending another wonderful afternoon together, wandering around the old neighborhood in Brooklyn, then visiting a bar, they took a bus to Daniel’s place, stopping at a bodega for groceries and snacks along the way.
Daniel’s room-mates were both at home when they got in, and seemed very interested in meeting Sasha.
Sasha had barely gotten his foot in the door before they were both lining up to shake his hand.
“We’ve been waiting to meet you,” the man, Luca, said. He had glasses and curly dark hair.
“Jamal told us all about last night,” said Irina, the blonde with a wicked smirk.
Daniel face-palmed again. “If you weren’t there, you aren’t allowed to know.”
“Sasha is the best, the absolute best!” Luca recited. “That’s what you told Jamal and Ryan twenty times last night.”
