"What!!!!!!!"

"A mysterious teleporter caught live on camera just a day after Mysterious Eclipse."

"Video was taken in New York City two hours ago."

*Sigh.

"Well, at least the teleporter doesn't just levitate off the ground and sit on the ceiling all day long without any idea on how to control the powers."

*Sigh.

She looked up to see the ground and her bed, longing to lie down on it.

"If only I could get off this ceiling and live a normal life." she thought.

"Daisy, I'm home!!!"

"Finally someone to pull me away from this ceiling." she thought again.

*Crash.

She fell to the ground after she had been stuck there since she woke up in the morning: it was now evening, and she had not had anything to eat since morning. She carefully walked downstairs holding the stairs railings so she couldn't levitate again.

"Hey, mom."

"Hey Dais... Why are you still in your pajamas?"

"OMG, you skipped school today!!"

" Don't tell me that you've been sleeping since morning."

" No mo..."

" Go dress up, we're going to the hospital to run a checkup on you."

*Sigh: Daisy responded.

She went back to her room, took a shower, and came back downstairs, her mom was changing as well; she quickly ran to the fridge and prepared cereals before she died of hunger.Her phone beeped, then she checked the notification and found out that all New York schools have been closed because of the teenage-looking teleporter on video.

"Whoa, school's closed." She said out loud.

Daisy made that statement when her mom was just stepping out of her room.

"I see, we'll skip the doctor's trip then. But that doesn't mean you have to sleep all day, what happened sweetie?"

Daisy knew she couldn't tell her mom about levitating, otherwise, they'll embark on the doctor's trip again."

I was just tired from yesterday's turn of events: while we were on our way to church, the massive eclipse, traffic and all. I just slept off"

She knew that her mom knew nothing about school just shutting down three minutes ago; so she decided to take advantage of the situation.

"I can't believe she bought that." she thought, as her mom left the room.

"I wonder if the teleporter and I attend the same school."

She picked up her jacket and set off to school to see if there were any traces of the so-called "Teleporter" there. When she arrived, she felt her legs slowly leaving the floor, so she ran up to her class as fast as she could, locked the door, and closed the blinds. She began levitating the moment she shut the blinds. She sat on the ceiling without any regard for what would happen to her if she stopped levitating. Just then she miraculously slowly stopped levitating and spinned around in mid-air till she landed on her feet.

"Wow, that was faster than I thought, it took only a minute give or take..."

*Crash

"What in heaven's name was that?!"

She gushed outside fearlessly heading towards the sound of the crash.

"Myles?" she gasped.

She was surprised to see Myles in a dark cloak looking all beat and tired.

"Bruh, what happened to you?"

"Y-Y-You wouldn't understand even if I told you."

"Try me"

"Not happening"

"Fine..."

"Wait, Daisy, why are you here anyways?"

"I should be asking you the same"

"Lemme guess, you came here looking for the teleporter?"

"Let's just say I have my problems at the moment."

"OK, I'll leave you to it, I got something to do anyways. Later"

Myles turned his back to face her and went down the hallway. Daisy brought out her phone and resumed the video, that's when she saw the cloak, then she remembered that Myles was wearing the same thing. Instinctively, she followed him. He turned and entered the male's room, so Daisy went closer and opened the door ajar, and began looking at the mirror that was reflecting his image.

"Ok Myles, think. The last time you blinked, you ended up in a gang's house and they mistook you for a thief. You barely made it out alive. So concentrate Myles."

"Blink? What does he mean by that?" Daisy thought to herself.

"C'mon, C'mon..."

"Darn it, I'm out of energy, lemme go grab some soda, the sugar will help at least."

"Shit, I can't make a run for it. What would happen if he sees me now?"

"C'mon gravity, lift me now please..."

She eased her body and began levitating, then she lay down on the ceiling with her back facing the top and her belly facing the ground. Myles walked out of the bathroom and headed toward the cafeteria, she stiffened again, and fell to the ground, then ran back to her class.

"Whew, that was close. Either way, what did he mean by blink? Could that mean a coded way of saying teleport? Plus he said he ended up in a gang's house. So complicated he is."

"Hey, Daisy."

"Yh, Myles, What's up?"

"Thank goodness I came back," She thought to herself.

"Umm, I wanted to get a soda from the cafeteria, want one?"

"Sure, let's go."

"So now we're thieves," Daisy said and they both laughed.

As soon as they got to the fridge, Daisy's left leg began moving upwards, she quickly stamped it to the ground and acted as if nothing had happened.

"Which do you like?"

"I'll take a Coke please."

"Ok."

He tossed a coke to her and took same for himself too. They both went to the rooftop and were watching the city from there, Myles sat at the edge of the building.

"Bruh, what if you fall?"

"Nevermind, I'll survive."

"Ok" She joined him knowing that gravity won't want her dead anyways. They began talking about school, the teleporter, and a whole lot of other stuff. While they conversed, Myles spotted a lady walking down a lonely alley, then three hoodlums were about forty meters behind her.

"Hey look at those guys," Myles told Daisy.

She looked at them and immediately pitied the young lady who didn't know what was about to happen. The boys hastened their steps and stopped the lady, they pushed her to the wall and began their infuriating schemes. The lady was a tough one, so she held her ground against them, but her courage was diminished the moment one of the boys slapped her, and took her bag forcefully from her. He opened the bag to check what was inside, the moment he raised his head to look at her, she brought out her pepper spray and sprayed his eyes, the one to her left and the one to her right, then she held her bag and kicked the boy who was holding it and ran off, as she ran, the boy whom she kicked brought out a gun and began shooting aimlessly. A bullet definitely went her way, but before it touched her as if time got paused, Myles stretched out his right arm leaning forward trying to blink toward the lady, Daisy also stretched out her arm trying to see if she could change the direction of the bullet. Just then a reflection of lightning came from the opposite direction of the alley and a teenage boy in black ninja-like clothing appeared at the head of the lightning and grabbed the lady, taking her out of the way, then he held the tail of the bullet and turned it towards a wall, then took the gun from the boy, gave him a resounding punch and did same to the other two, and looked at Myles and Daisy and saw that the tip of Myles's fingers was vanished and had appeared where the lady was standing, he immediately understood that he was the teleporter, and Daisy had also pushed herself forward that she was going to fall off the edge, he looked at Myles's fingers again and left the scene almost immediately he came. Everything had happened in a flash. Myles then teleported to where the lady had been, and Daisy started falling, then Myles blinked at her, caught her, and blinked back to the rooftop.

*What just happened?*

That was the question lingering on everybody's minds.
