Seal the hole!

After the discussion on how they would seal the hole at Trost, Commander Pixis gathered both the Garrison and Scout regiments to pull off the mission.

Standing on top of the wall he looked at all the soldiers that were lined up, waiting to hear what he had to say.

"What do you think we wanna do?" One of the soldiers asked, shaking as he packed his blades into his odm gear.

"Men… I just hope we aren't going over the wall… ".

"Of course we are, they wanna kill us all, those monsters already killed so many of our friends and we are next on the chopping block" The soldier screamed, leaving fear in the hearts of his comrades, "They just want us to die, I have a daughter … I don't want her to be alone".

"Pull yourself together, are you not a soldier," Officer Whilm yelled.

"You're one to talk, all you do is give orders all day, where it's all safe, My daughter needs me, and I…" Before the man could finish his sentence he had already received a kick to the face from Ava.

The man fell to the front crashing on the other Odm gears, she walked over to him and raised his head with his hair, showing him his reflection on the silverware.

"Your kind disgusts me, look at yourself in the mirror, then. ask yourself, if the titan breached this wall again, what do you think would happen to your daughter, if her father won't pick up your own blade to fight" She then released and went back to her the special unit that was planning the sealing in trost.

"Attention!"

Commander Pixie yelled, trying to get their attention, I called you all here to Inform you about the mission we are going to be working on, we are going to take back Trost from the titans.

"I knew it " The soldiers mumbled in fear.

"I'd like to introduce the two aces of this plan, Eren Yeager and Ayato Shikigami, these two have the ability to transform into titans, pretty handy if you ask me". Commander pixis smiled.

"No matter the risk, the plan is simple, the titans will move to areas with a large population of people, we'll move some soldiers to a corner of the wall, drawing them close to them, that's where this young man comes in" Pixis pointed out Ayato.

"With his titan, he can eliminate them as they draw closer, while that is going on Eren Yeager and a group of soldiers will protect Eren from any titans as he lifts the boulder to seal the hole in the wall, do we understand?"

The soldiers, confused, didn't know if they were brave or just going to die, until …..

"I know you're scared, hell I am too, but I swear here, right in front of you, no one is going to die by myself, I won't let that happen, so I ask that you help on this mission, for your families and loved ones," Ayato said.

Eren looked at Ayato with a smile on his face, "Way to go man" He gave Ayato a punch to the shoulder.

"Yeah you did good," Mikasa said, with her beet red cheeks.

"Why are you blushing, you weren't the one that spoke up" Eren laughed.

"Shut up".

"We are with you all the way Commander Pixis" The soldiers responded with a cheer.

"Great and let the mission begin"

Just right before the mission started, Mikasa and Ayato sat at the edge of the wall talking.

"Which squad were you placed in?" Ayato asked.

"Protecting Eren" She replied.

"I see, I guess I'll be taking all these titans all by myself" He smiled.

"If it gets rough, you just come to get me okay" She moved closer to him.

"Sure, can I tell you something?" Ayato's face went from a smile to a worrisome look.

"Something bothering you?"

"I'm changing, everytime I enter that titan I feel like a whole different person, it's messing with my head, my eyes hold only darkness, I get consumed by hatred, a bitterness toward whatever I'm facing... I fear one day I'll lose myself, and…"

"That's not going to happen, I told you when things get rough, you come to get me? I won't let anything happen to you" She said.

Ayato laughed, "That was way too cringy for your taste".

"Shut up," She stood up, "Stay alive" She left.

"Okay soldiers move out" Commander pixis yelled, all the soldiers moved to their units.

"Hey there you are" Ava spotted Ayato making his way towards them, she volunteered to stay on Ayato's squad.

"Are you part of the people distracting the Titans?" He asked.

"Yes I am, so you do what you have to do" Ava smiled.

"Thanks" Looking down at the titans he thought to himself, "No one dies, come on" He jumped from the wall all the way down.

They were all shocked until they saw the bright spark of lightning and Ayato's titan appeared.

"Okay soldiers, let's go, pull them to the wall" Ava commanded.

"Okay, Eren anytime now", Hinge, the squad leader said to Eren.

Sure, I'm ready", Eren looked at the boulder, "Can I really do this?" He had doubts.

"Hey, no need to get anxious" Mikasa yelled from the building top.

"I know! Okay here goes nothing" He slit his wrist with the pocket knife he had with him.

Seeing it up close made most of the soldiers move back in fear.

"Okay, Eren, now the boulder…" Eren instinctively attacked Mikasa, landing a straight punch at her.

He was able to dodge the attack, "Snap out of it Eren!" She kept on moving around as she kept evading his attacks.

"Damn it, why is he attacking you?" Hinge pulled out his hands.

"I'll handle this, no need to get involved, focus on those incoming titans sir" Mikasa yelled.

"Eren!"

He was about to attack Mikasa but he suddenly went unconscious when Ayato stood him on the back of the neck with a giant stone.

"Just great, the mission is a failure," Rebecca said as she pulled out the flare gun and shot out red smoke.
