The butler

(Oetsu POV)

Well, it was official. I want help. I am here doing all of these projects that I have very little time to actually do, because of all this organisation and cleaning and sorting and all that. So I have decided now. 

I will put my projects on hold and focus on creating some Zanpakutos. Just like Oetsu from Canon but different as well. I will create something better than just a normal Zanpakuto and have their spirits manifest. I will recreate something like Ichigo's Zanpakuto.

Ichigo's Zanpakuto spirit is a Hollow. How that worked out is still mysterious to me, but I have gained lots of new insights during these months.

So I will create a Zanpakuto and try to fuse the spirit with a Hollow-like substance to make it stronger. This way I will then infuse it with a special ability to help me all around my island. 

A Butler had to be created.

So I got to work. I had refrained from creating a Zanpakuto for myself up until this point because I wanted to gain more experience and understanding of it. I was not going to be happy with the normal Asauchi. I was planning on truly creating a powerful Zanpakuto. 

And no matter what you believe, the materials do matter. A normal Shinigami with a weaker power could use an Asauchi I sent down to the Seireitei with no problem. But someone like? No that would not do for me. While it could work, I was not going to accept average.

But this one was not going to be for me to use, per se. It would be here to help me. The Essence of the Crafter allowed me to infuse powers and abilities into my weapons. And there was nothing more useful than that when creating a specific Zanpakuto. 

What ability would I infuse into this Zanpakuto? 

--- Teleportation ---

Why teleportation? That is the ultimate ability for a Butler to help me in my endeavours. Imagine I was inside the forge and needed something from my storage ... was I gonna go there myself and get it? No! I could just tell Alfred ... that will be the name I'll call him ... and he would then get it.

But I also would have Alfred act as a defence. When the Quincy come, and they will, then I would have another helper and supporter for our side to fight those arrogant guys. Besides, with all the weapons I will create ... I will need someone to try them out for me ...

What? I can fix him if things go south. And then there is also the fact that he will be able to use the weapons during battle. Imagine when I create the 'Dominator' gun. I'll have Alfred use it from a range and cover me. 

Or when I build the Medigun from Team Fortress 2. Imagine I fight against Lille Barro with his X-Axis and he gets me and makes some holes in me. Well then I have Alfred there to heal me and I will be able to kill Lille Barro, while I am in those 10 seconds of invulnerability. 

I just need a weapon that can target intangible targets. Eh, I'll look into that in the future.

I went to the storage where I had some things I had started and stopped due to something else coming up. There I grabbed a container with Hollows inside. They were not very strong Hollows, only Menos Grande level.

I also had other containers with stronger Hollows such as Adjucas and even Vasto Lorde. Yes, I went to Hueco Mundo as soon as I had created my favourite tool. The portal gun. 

Indeed I stole this piece of technology from Rick and Morty. It was far too powerful not to try and copy it. It took me 2 full months of testing to get it just right. I was frustrated at first but then realised that I was essentially building something that worked on this universe's laws of space and time and manipulated them.

After realising this, I calmed down because this Universes laws were different from others. So I was essentially not copying the tool itself, only the idea behind it. I was building it from scratch. And it only took me two months, only. 

As I was building it, I could feel my understanding of this world and its laws deepened and I would now be able to build the portal gun in a few minutes tops. The Essence of the Blank was working wonderfully.

So after building the portal gun, I used it to leave the Royal Palace and go to Hueco Mundo. There I searched for strong Hollows. Due to the Quincy not yet starting their attack on the Hollows under Juha Bach, there are many more Hollows in Hueco Mundo than in later years. 

So finding strong Hollows is not that difficult. 

I took a bit of everything. Some Gillian, some Adjucas and some Vasto Lorde. These guys were very powerful these days. Thankfully I had enough sealing cubes, or Sealing Realms, as I call them. 

This nice little device originates from the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. It is a living barrier so powerful that there is nothing it cannot seal. After creating the portal gun, my understanding of time and space deepened. So I decided before going to Hueco Mundo, that I would create 'cages' to trap and seal Hollows as well as other beings.

A mass of flesh transfers to the target's body in a flash, ensnaring them. This renders them immobile and unable to access any of their Spirit energy. The sealing process can be completed with the command "gate close", reverting Prison Realm into its small form, trapping the target inside indefinitely. Only one occupant can be contained at a time. Unless the person inside takes their own life, the Prison Realm cannot be used again.

However, unlike the Prison REalm from Jujutsu Kaisen, my Prison REalm does not require someone to stay in the radius for a longer period. I did not want that and instead chose to go the Pokemon direction. 

Simply throwing these cubes at Hollows to trigger the masses of flesh and then immobilise them and stop them from using their spirit energy. It was an effective way to do things, as I could trick most Hollows by simply saying: "Catch!", throwing one such Prison Realms at them. 

They catch it and they get trapped and sealed. It is very funny to do and it never gets old.

Now back to my current project, the Butler. I grabbed some of the Prison Realms and entered the forge. I then placed one of the cubes in a specific spot I designed to hold them for future projects. 

Then I conjured the material for an Asauchi and began to heat the forge. The process was very fast but instead of finishing the material and making an Asauchi, I then activated the sequence I coded with a special Kido, that I created.

The Kido activated and special lines began to glow. They reached the Prison Realm and made it glow as well. A scream was heard. What was happening right there?

What was happening was that the Kido, Oetsu had created was pressing the Hollow's essence out of the Prison Realm like you would toothpaste. This essence then travelled along the Kido lines into the fire and began to combine with the unfinished Asauchi. 

I continued to happen with precision. It was now a very important step. With full concentration, I managed to hit the right places and stopped when I saw that the colour was just right.

I activated another Kido. This Kido's sole purpose was to conjure water that was meant to cool the Zanpakuto. 

I looked at the finished Zanpakuto and looked deep into it. I wanted to see whether it was truly a finished product or whether my trying to fuse the Zanpakuto with Hollow essence ruined it. 

But it seemed that it was not all that bad. I could still see mistakes that would make the Zanpakuto break down in the future but it was indeed a Zanpakuto. I had practically done Hollowification on a Zanpakuto. 

Aizen ain't got nothing on me.

Not happy with my product I stored the flawed Zanpakuto and started again. This process went on until I managed to get it perfect by the third attempt. 

I could not see any flaws whatsoever and I knew that I could have the Zanpakuto spirit Manifest. I let it do that and saw a white version of the man I tried to create. It was not at all what I hoped for. 

"Greetings creator.", the Hollow-Zanpakuto spirit said as it grinned a bloodthirsty grin. The character was not what I wanted to create. 

"Haaa, another failure. Well then back to the old drawing board.", I said. 

It seemed though that the Hollow-Zanpakuto did not take my comment lightly and tried to attack me. He swung his sword at me.

I only looked at him and didn't move. When the sword was about to cut me, it stopped. The Hollow-Zanpakuto looked surprised and tried to move his arm, without luck.

"What is going on? What did you do to me?"

"Who do you think I am? I am Oh-Etsu Nimaiya. The greatest Zanpakuto creator. Zanpakuto are my creation. Do you really think I would ever allow my creations to harm me in any way?

You are mine and now that you have tried to harm me, you will know what to do ..."

I looked at him with contempt. I was not an imbecile. I knew that my creations would be dangerous. So I installed multiple safe codes. These codes would activate under certain conditions. 

One such condition was that they attack me. Should that ever happen, which is considered the worst of crimes, my creations will have to punish themselves. And this punishment can only be ... death. They will have the wish to kill themselves when they turn against me.

I looked as the Hollow-Zanpakuto's arm moved on its own turned the blade around and aimed it at the Hollow-Zanpakuto's heart. No matter how much the Hollow side tried to struggle, the arm pierced it and he screamed.

After the scream was over the Zanpakuto dissolved into nothing as was encoded into them. Nothing that has been created by me can be used to harm me in any way. For if it does or is used that way, it will destroy itself. 

*Sigh*

I placed another Prison Realm, activated the Kido and conjured more material for an Asauchi. And I started the process again.

(3rd Person POV)

This went on for about a week. At first, Oetsu tried to get the character of the Hollow-Zanpakuto fusion right. He was looking for a Butler and not a sassy Hollow spirit. 

After he managed to do that, he increased the material's purity as well as the strength of the Hollows. He started with Gillians and then went to Adjucas and finally Vasto Lorde. 

After one week of this, Oetsu finally managed to create the perfect fusion between a Vasto Lorde and a Zanpakuto spirit. And the result was standing before him.

The HZ-spirit bowed lightly and greeted me. 

"Good evening, sir. How may I be of service?"

"I would like to ask you whether you experience any discomfort of any kind. I am trying to make it as perfect as possible."

"No uncomfortable feeling whatsoever, sir."

"Good. I can also not see anything wrong with you. Well, then should we try out your ability?"

"Certainly sir. Where would you like to go to?"

"I would like to go to Ichibe's island please."

"As you wish."

The HZ-spirit clasped his hands and then we disappeared from the forge and reappeared next to Ichibe, who had a surprised expression on his face. 

"Oho, Oetsu you managed to create something truly wonderful. And so loyal as well. Truly marvellous. Welcome to the Royal Palace."
