Sunset Tower

Once upon a time in a kingdom far away there lived a king with a haughty attitude. "Bring me the fairest maiden!", he declared. His people searched high and low for this maiden, royalty, nobles and commoners from far away kingdom were summoned but none of them pleased his majesty.

Then one day a young maiden came knocking at the palace's gate. The knights informed the King and they were ordered to let her in. "I've come from a far away land and I'm hungry and cold", the maiden greeted. The moment the King laid his eyes on her, he knew she was the one he's been looking for.

Soon enough the two got married and had a daughter named "Hope", she was as pretty as her mother, with golden hair and emerald eyes.

The now Queen requested that the King prove his love to her by building a tower, one with a single room on top, with a spiral staircase leading down to a golden door. The King filled with love for his wife immediately granted her wish.

But little did he know his gift would be the one to take her away forever.

[Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair], was written on the note that the Queen had left on the room before she jumped down from the tower. Her favorite hair ornament was beside the note, explaining as to why the golden hair of her majesty covered her face.

The tower of promised love turned in to a tower of sorrow.

Ever since then the King would stare outside the tower's window while the sun sets, granting its name "The Sunset Tower".
