Chapter 3: The Great Coffee Heist

Max returned to his desk, determined to solve the mystery of the missing coffee beans. He logged into his computer and started scanning through security footage from Benny's Café. Hours of uneventful footage played before his eyes, and he was starting to lose hope when something caught his attention.

At 3:00 AM, a figure dressed in all black snuck into the café. The intruder moved with the grace of a cat burglar, heading straight for the storage room. Minutes later, they emerged carrying several large bags – the coffee beans.

Max rewound the footage and zoomed in, but the figure's face was obscured by a mask. "Interesting," he murmured. He copied the footage to a flash drive and headed to Lisa's desk.

"Hey, Lisa, can you enhance this for me?" he asked, handing her the drive.

Lisa took it, raising an eyebrow. "You're serious about this coffee thing, huh?"

"Dead serious. The city's caffeine supply is at stake."

Lisa rolled her eyes but plugged in the drive. She worked her magic, enhancing the image until the figure's mask was somewhat transparent. Max leaned in, squinting at the screen.

"Is that… a cat mask?" he asked incredulously.

Lisa nodded. "Looks like it. Why would someone steal coffee dressed as a cat?"

Max shrugged. "Maybe they're a fan of cat cafés. Or maybe… they're just really weird."

Lisa snorted. "Weird is an understatement. So, what's the plan?"

Max grinned. "We're going to track down this feline felon and bring the coffee back. And maybe, just maybe, save New York City from a caffeine apocalypse."

Lisa shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips. "Alright, Sherlock. Let's catch this cat burglar."
