Can't Get Enough

Li Jei stepped out from the meeting at seven in the evening. He was glad that the crisis was over. He figured the problem and taught the programmers a way to counter any hacking activity. He was pleased with the brilliance and talents of the IT team of Zhang Lei's company. Although it won't par with his team, they have the talent that surpass his expectations. With the solution that he deviced their system is stronger than ever. He went back to Zhang Lei's office. She was typing on her laptop when he came in. She smiled at him. He sat on the couch looked so exhausted. Zhang Lei already learned from her IT manager what Li Jei did and she was very grateful for him. She approached him and gave him a cup of tea. "This tea helps me a lot when I have a tiring day. It rejuvenates me. Thank you for solving our problem. If not for you our system will be breached and I will be in big trouble. All our information will be leaked out in the open. Our competitors will feast on in and tapple our company down. Again thank you, Li Jei." she said sincerely. "You know that I would do anything to protect you." he carressed her face with the back of his hand affectionately. She took his hand and held it with his. Zhang Lei's stomach gurgled loudly and they laughed. "Someone is hungry. Come on I'll treat you dinner." He said pulling her up.

It's almost eight in the evening when they got out from the office. They used the private elevator down to the parking lot. "What do you want to eat?" Li Jei asked. "I don't want to eat any fancy food. I crave homemade food." Li Jei smiled at her and said, "Alright I'll cook for you then. Let's drop by the grocery store and I will take you to my place. "Okey, but we'll cook together. I know you are tired from work today too so we'll share the load." "That's my lady". he patted her head.

They arrived at Li Jei's place."Come on in.This will be your future home too. What do you think?" Li Jie owned a house. It is a two storey house with one master's bedroom and three guest rooms. It has a homey feeling. Everything from ceiling to wall colors, to curtains and the couches, every furniture or decoration all complemented each other. The dining table was large that it could fit ten people. The kitchen is neatly arranged. "Wow, do you live here all by yourself?" "I do, but a caretaker comes here every day to do the cleaning. I am not always home to cook so the kitchen is seldom used. But now that you're here I think this kitchen will be put to good use." he said teasingly. "What do you mean by that Mr. Li Jie? Hmmm?..." "I'll be busy cooking for my future wife. he smiled showing his teeth and dimples. Zhang Lei could't helped but blush at what he said. "Okey so what are we cooking tonight?" she changed the subject before they will do something else instead of eating.

She and Li Jei cooked some ramen, sweet and sour pork and some stir fry vegetables. They were eating at the dining table and Zhang Lei asked, " Why is your dining table so big?" "Because I want a big family." Zhang Lei choked her food upon hearing what he said. "Are you alright? Here have some water."

"Yes I'm fine." she replied. He was laughing at her reaction but did not tease her further.

They tided up the kitchen after they ate.

Zhang Lie took out her laptop and checked her emails and Li Jei did the same thing. They were both sitting in the living room engrossed in their work. At midnight Zhan Lei yawned and was fighting her sleepiness. "Stay here tonight. It's not safe for you to go home. Li Jei said. "I don't have extra clothes to change into." She said "Actually you do. I'll show you." He led her to his room. Opened the closet ad took out a pair of pink Pj's. "You can change into this." "Why do you have female pajamas in your closet?" "I was preparing it for you whenever you will come here. And you're here right now so use it." She was speechless again.

She took a warm shower and was ready for bed. She was looking for Li Jei but could bot find him. 'He might be in the bathroom taking a shower.' She went inside the master's bedroom and sat on his bed to wait for him. But sleep took over her. When Li Jei step out from the bathroom. He saw her girlfriend curled up like a little kitten on his bed dozing off soundly. He was mesmerized while looking at her innocent beautiful face. He pulled the duvet to cover her. Sat beside her while stroking her black long hair. He was very happy that they are together again. He promised that he will not lose her again. He kissed her lovingly on her forehead. After a while he joined her in a deep slumber.

The sun is bright and shiny and is peeking in to the window where the two were still fast asleep. Zhang Lei was the first one to wake up and she felt something heavy in her midsection. She glanced at the handsome man beside her hugging her mid section and was sound asleep. She had the most wonderful rest after a long time and felt contented. She could not help but reach out to caress the alluring face of her man. He is so gentle looking when he sleeps. "Good morning." she whispered. Li Jei opened his eyes and saw the most beautiful person smiling lovingly at him. He kissed her lips and said, "I want to wake up seeing that smile for the rest of my life." Zhang Lei giggled and they hugged each other. They stayed in that position for almost an hour. They can't seem to get enough of each other. It's almost ten in the morning when they got up. They need to prepare their food since it was the weekend. Together they went to the kitchen to cook.

While they where cooking each of their phones rang. It was their mothers that called them. They agreed not to tell them yet so they made their own alibi. "Hello mom." "Zhang Lei, how did your date go yesterday? Did you get along well with the guy?" Her Mom asked excited to hear some positive news. " Yeah it was fine. Indeed he was a nice young man." "That's it? No next date or something? I thought you got along well." "Mom it's up to him to call me and ask for another date. Not the other way around. I am the girl here atleast give me some break." "Forgive your old mother I just wanted to know if you clicked. Anyway if he calls you again please tell me, sweetheart? I'll hang up now. Bye."

"Hello Li Jei, how was your lunch date yesterday?" " It was fine mother." "Good good. so did you ask her out again?" "Mother, we talked about this. No meddling with my lovelife, okey?" "Your old mother just want to know if you like the girl and if yes then ask her out again and get married." "Mom just relax, I will be fine. Don't worry about my lovelife too much. Just enjoy your time with dad. Okey? I have to go. Talk to you soon."

They both laughed at how they lied to their mothers. "We'll tell them soon. But for now, let's enjoy our time together." Li Jei said and hugged her planted a kiss on her head. " I need to do something this afternoon. You stay here and rest, alright? I will be back right away. "Alright, but hurry back. I'll just stay in your room if that's fine with you." "I'd like that". Li Jie left while Zhang Lei was reading reports emailed by her secretary. She felt tired and slept. When she woke up it was already dark outside. She found a note on the bedside nightstand. 'Wear this dress and meet me at the garden.' It was a white sleeveless mid dress. She wore the dress and examined herself in the mirror. Was pleased that it fit her perfectly. She let her hair down put some very light make up and completed her look by wearing an opened-toe sandals. While she descended the stairs, she noticed a trail of rose petals and candles. She followed it out into a small gazebo. Where Li Jei was waiting. Wearing a white polo shirt and slacks. He is an adonis. Her adonis. He was carrying a guitar and started to play a song while she walked towards him. It seems like she was in a dream, a wonderful dream. She stopped right in front of him as he started to sing... she does not want this magical moment to end.
