You and Me.

Levi is a hitman, an assassin really. And a rich one for that matter. He is cold, calculating, blunt and detached from society. Simone on the other hand is a 22 year old orphaned collage dropout who has four siblings to fend for. They meet in an unlikely manner at the city market after Levi completes one of his jobs and in an unlikely turn of events, he ends up needing her help, he doesn't want it though, he just happens to be inconvenienced. They find themselves in an interesting situation, however, living as some sort of dysfunctional family. It's not an ideal scene for any of them, but something intangible prompts Levi to stay.

My mind went into overdrive. I was in another hospital room for the second time in 24 hours, worried for someone I cared about. Mica was discharged so we went home.

The others came from school and we had a fun time but it felt different when Simone was clearly out of it. Mica noted that Simone didn't say a word to her the whole time in the hospital, she was trapped in her own mind.

I was worried for Simone, she needed help. That was what we all generally agreed on. Simone did so much for her sisters and they all wanted to do something for her. I then decided to call Simone so I could go get her from work but she wasn't picking up. I kept tabs on her though so I found her easily.

I watched her come out of her workplace and she spotted me, her expression still haunted and distant. It was 2 am, so she looked understandably exhausted, her shoulders sagging and her eyes bloodshot. she rubbed a tired hand down her face then decided she had to get moving.
