Dressed in a black suit and a red tie, I looked like a business man in a gathering. I stood before everyone and took a look from one side to the next. I could see that even the UN peacekeeping forces were riled up from Lilith's speech just now. It was a waste as they wouldn't be going to war with us.
"Thank you everyone, thank you. As I stand before you, I want to assure everyone on something first. The following action that would take place in the general pledge of helping people, yet, there are a few twists that everyone needs to understand."
All of them didn't show quite the reaction I was expecting. They just stood their like kids waiting for candy. I even thought they were too dumb to get the gist of things.
"Almost two and a half years have passed now since my last official mission." I stopped and reminisced on that day, and as I thought hard, memories came flooding back as they have in the last couple of months. I touched my scalp as I steeled myself.
