Ghost Cat
Staring at the cat and it staring back made the whole thing weird. It didn't even purr for gawd sake!
It was a cat but acted nothing like it. I even thought it was a devil looking at its prey. What could I say, the cat was just rude!
I moved forward and extended my hand to it. I thought it would want me to caress it as cats do. Well, I was wrong!
Feeling defeated like a loser, I stood up and approached it openly. In return, it zoomed out of existence before appearing at a further distance. I wasn't going to be left behind and chased after it.
However, whatever trick I used, the cat was always a few steps ahead of me. I couldn't even catch it's Shadow.
It was humiliating!
[What are you doing?]
'Stop talking, am at work.'
[Doing what exactly?]
'Trying...'
[Have you had enough?]
Sigh!
'Okay-okay, I get your point.'
I took a deep breath as I stood rooted with sweat all over me. It was very taxing.
