New land 2

After listening to everyone and getting their thoughts, the group had decided to settle on this land.

But first, they had to scout the area. So they walked on and scouted.

"This indeed is a good land; there's rich vegetation, open land to create, but my concern is that it's to in the open," Al mentioned as he and the group searcher.

He continued.

"It being too open is a concern, as we don't have protection. Yes, we have spears and such, but we don't know the dangers."

The group had the same idea. But they continued to move on. In front of them was a small pile of rocks, and that was their goal. It looked close but probably required a few hours to get there.

Soon an hour or two had gone by.

At this point, the group had decided to rest a bit.

Sitting next to a rock, Jessica, who was taking a sip out of her water container, spilled everything out as she thought of something.

Noticing her reaction, the group quickly got up and grouped in a battle formation.

Al quickly walked over to her. "JESSICA! What wrong?"

"It's fine; I just thought of something."

Elena, who had released a breath of relaxation, walked over to her. "ooh, and what was that? Did you really need to scare us like that?

"Sorry, but have you guys noticed that we haven't seen any animals."

Listening to her thoughts, everyone's eyes were wide open. They had totally forgotten.

Since leaving the forest, they hadn't seen any animals.

Lisa, scratching her chin," Your right, we haven't seen any or heard of any animals."

"Could it possibly be do to something? with how this land is, there should be an animal."

"Your right, Babe." Turning around and scanning the area." quite possible, something could be impacting the animals or something else might be living here."

Paul expressing his thoughts, the entire group got quit, a tint of fear also developed in there hearts.

Cindy, who had been quite the most of the time, finally spoke. "Should we go back? and retrace our steps."

Looking at her, Al" we can, but it too late, we'll lose daylight going back, and then its a dangerous to be in the forest at night. Here's but we'll do, since we're close to our goal, I'll go and see what around. If at any time there is danger, I want you guys to run back to the raft."

Listening to his plan, at first, everyone rejected and didn't want it. But Al didn't budge; he knew time was limit. Eventually, the group agreed, but Al had to go with one other person; that person ended up being Elena.

Eventually, the duo had reached the pile of rocks. Looking at them, these rocks were a lot larger than they initially thought.

STanding next to the piles of rock, some which were easily 20 meters up in the air. AL lifted his head, astonishment involuntarily appearing on his face as he gazed upon the seemingly normal looking rocks.

The stone was old and discolored and seemed to contain a mysterious aura.

"This, I feel a lot safer next to these rocks than anywhere else," Elena cupped her hands over her eyes as she gazed at the pile of rocks.

Quickly the duo started searching around the area.

"Al, Come hear I found a box, similar to the one you found."

Upon seeing this, Alooked towards Elena and walked over to her.

In less than a minute, they had opened the box and started reading the written notes in.

.... This is Derek, i don't if you are the same person that found my other box of notes or not, but this another one of my letter and guide to you!"

"Ahh i think i'm going crazy, each every day feels like death is right there. I almost died, thank God, i was saved. "

"Yes, Saved, I'm not alone! I was saver by Mac; he took me to this area that you found my notes. its an area filled with rock that goes up at least 15-20 meters in the sky."

"This guy named Mark.....i though he was crzy..like way crazy...he had these ideas and stuff on how our human body is changing anf getting stronger...and such....

... At first i thought he was crazy, but slowly following him around, he nots. This MAN can do some crazy things. Last week i saw him lifting a bolder....a friccken boulder mate, another time I saw him running at a speen un heard off"

"From his understanding, he and I discovered that our bodies are changing, were getting stronger and faster. But Mac also has another idea; he believes there's a particular type of power flowing around us. He believes that this power or area, is quite abundant in this area, and for some reason also provides a blanket or cover from the wilderness."

"One thing that was noticed was that there was no animal around this area, and Mac believes it's do this power. "

"Two days ago, Al caught a rabbit-like creature alive and brought it to the area. Right when he got close to the range, the creatures started trembling and gasping, Eventually, Mac had allowed it to leave."

"From this experience, Mac believes that this power is the key to survive and it if we can control we can be on the top."

Al and Elena contiuned reading rest of the notes.

"It's been a year and half since my first note. Also has changed. It has gotten unsaved. We're seeing more creatures and creatures in this range. Mac still has learned how to control this energy....... it's getting dangerous.....Every day the unique energies seems to be decreasing and decreasing. Just last night, we saw T-rex, at the edge of the rocks... Mac has decided to leave and that its unsafe, for some reason, the energy has declined. After a while, the entire group had gathered, and each everyone one of the members read the notes.
