First Battle

Slowly he approached a forest nearby.

Beginners Forest.

It looked like a normal forest but the density of the vegetation was simply insane, making it difficult to walk, coupled with his extra kilograms even worse. He took out his [Rusty Sword] from the inventory since he didn't feel secure at all.

''I should start losing weight, this is hard,'' Noah said while walking through the vegetation he had yet to find something to kill, it took him about 30 minutes to find a creature, in front of him there could be seen a rabbit who was eating peacefully.

Comparing this rabbit with the ones from the ones in the earth this one was slightly bigger and had bigger teeth, removing the cuteness that the original ones had.

Walking slowly toward the rabbit trying his best to control his breathing and not make any noise, he approached the rabbit step by step this until he broke a branch with his feet, alerting the rabbit who turned its face toward him ready to battle.

''Wait isn't it supposed to run?'' Noah started doubting his strength at this moment, normally these animals are inoffensive but here it was one ready to pounce on him.

He approached the rabbit slowly completely focused on it, the rabbit got impatient and jumped forward in response to this Noah ran and prepared for the clash while holding his sword tightly.

The rabbit showed no fear and kept charging towards him. The distance between them shortened.

When he thought was enough Noah swung his sword in order to chop the head of the rabbit, which was easily evaded by the same and jumped to his tight and with its sharp teeth gave a bite to Noah's right leg, piercing the flesh.

ARGH! Noah screamed, feeling the pain. He gritted his teeth and hit the rabbit side in panic instead of piercing it, making the rabbit fly to the side.

The rabbit locked its vision again on Noah and began a second charge this time the rabbit headbutted him in the stomach. After taking this heavy hit Noah flew into the air landing a couple of meters away on his back, he rolled on the ground making some pitiful sounds.

Getting back on his feet again Noah couldn't help but tremble while looking at this rabbit, he was yet to land a solid hit on it. If someone was looking at this scene they would certainly laugh at him.

'This hurts too much, ain't there any pain reduction thingy? Why is this thing so strong? Well, maybe it is just because I suck at physical activities, and fighting right off the bat wasn't the brightest idea, I need to be more clever.'' Noah didn't expect to be losing the fight so badly.

The rabbit was planning on finishing off Noah. And without a warning, it hopped its way toward Him.

There could be heard the sound of the hopping, knitting his brows, Noah stopped his train of thought ad when he felt the rabbit was close enough he rolled to the side and tried to get up in haste. The rabbit missed the charge allowing Noah to get up, right after Noah gave a chop downward with his sword managing to pierce a bit of the rabbit's flesh.

The Rabbit was angered by this and charged without any care for the pain and with its mouth open, revealing its sharp teeth, planning to bite Noah's chest.

Noah realized this and turned its body to the side, managing to dodge this attack from the rabbit while it was flying by his side, Noah stabbed the sword with the intent to pierce the brain, because of his inexperience he stabbed the body instead of the head.

The rabbit rolled on the ground in pain because of the deep wound in its body. This time the rabbit started looking at Noah with caution observing his movements trying to find an opening to launch another attack.

Noah felt elated since he finally managed to deal a great amount of damage to the rabbit, gaining a little bit of confidence because of this.

Both the rabbit and Noah looked at each other both bleeding yet none of them had the luxury to have a moment of distraction or the enemy would manage to gain an advantage.

After what seemed an eternity both of them charged at the same time.

This time Noah decided to let the rabbit attack.

The rabbit launched itself forward in order to headbutt Noah like the last time, Noah who was observing the rabbit realized it wanted to headbutt him so he decided to point the edge of the sword at the head of the rabbit which managed to pierce the rabbit's head and brain.

The Rabbit fell on the floor never be able to move again.

Noah, on the other hand, was happy with a wide grin on his face, if someone looked at him they would think he was creepy, after all, he was smiling while panting heavily this would make them think he was a pervert.

Noah decided to sit down to catch his breath and recover a little bit of energy.

'Ahh, this was way harder then I thought.' truthfully speaking he thought it was going to be a walk in the park I mean who would have thought that this creature would manage to fight like that, walking close to the corpse he inspected it in hopes of it to disappear like in some MMOs but nothing happened, in the end, he decided to store it in his inventory, when the body disappeared he found 3 copper coins.

''So if we kill monsters we can get some money? That is unexpected.'' Noah smiled and kept himself on the ground recovering.

After 30 minutes he decided to get back, now that he thought about it he doesn't remember the direction back.

'And now?' He asked himself, after some time pondering he decided to find a place to find the night.

After walking around for about 40 to 50 minutes he found a cave, he approached it and there where no signs of life, slowly he entered the cave and to his pleasure there weren't signs of anything ever being here so just like this he found himself a place to stay for the night.
