Three heavy hearts

After walking the long cold corridors, Sharchan let Sienna and his brother into Sienna's door. Sienna went straight to the table and started to gobble up the grapes from the fruit bowl on her table hungrily.

"Food!Finally!"She chuckled as she ate a bit nervously watching Sharchan and S staring at her.

"Well, come sit next to me."She chuckled."I think you both ran enough today," she sat them at the table with her glare.

Sharchan sat S next to him and he sat opposite to Sienna. The strong Snake King sighed and looked into her eyes."You are a naughty queen..." he bit his lips.

"What? It is forbidden to eat grapes now or what?"Sienna smiled at him.

"No, "Sharchan shook his head." I almost lost you again. It is driving me crazy." he bit his lips.

"I know, don't blame yourself. It was an accident." Sienna nodded.

"Why did you have to look from that window so suddenly?"Sharchan started to interrogate her.

"Well, I heard nice singing. I wanted to see the bird."Sienna shook her shoulder innocently.

"Ahh, how do I keep you safe...?"Sharchan put his head into his hands a bit desperately. The gravity of this morning just fell on him. He felt so guilty looking into her beautiful face. "You might just get eaten by something just like that..." he shook his head worriedly. "You are not allowed to look from the windows from now on!" he noted.

Sienna would normally get enraged at his statement and remind him, that she also had a bodyguard available if he did not send Ziran back, but she saw he was very upset, so she rather did not provoke him...

"Sure my love, at least I can look at you instead. "She smiled sweetly. "You look so much better than the trees outside for sure..." she giggled.

"What?"Sharchan looked at her in quiet disbelief, he expected a fight to break out, but his queen was content with his order...his face softened a bit and he felt kind of sweet in his heart suddenly.

Sienna watched his handsome face, he seemed vulnerable somehow to her, but strong, it was like she uncovered a layer of his thick scaly skin and got a glance inside his worried heart.

"You are my amazing man. "she smiled at him and grabbed his hand."I still can't believe you jumped in there for me," Sienna shook her head quite pleased with him and her eyes teared up a little.

"I will follow you anywhere..."Sharchan nodded...

"Thank you."Sienna leaned to his face and kissed his lips gently.

Sharchan felt the fire-like sensual energy seeping from her, she was like an overcharged battery which needed to spend some quality time with her mate...

He broke her kiss with a bit of daze. Sienna smiled at him but felt a gaze. She looked at S. He was sitting next to Sharchan watching them a bit painfully.

The strong almost Snake King was biting his lips...

"I'm sorry I did not jump after you too." he sighed and looked at Sienna so upset with himself.

"I'm glad you did not...you would die if you did..."Sienna nodded.

"But how it is possible you were fine? "S asked curiously.

"I have a protective pendant from Marath on me. He must have slipped it onto my neck as he fought that Firebird..." She took the black pendant from the neckline of her dress and held it in her palm to show it to them.

"Why did you not tell it to me before?"Sharchan hissed.

"I was worried you would rage on Marath, you can't fight him..."Sienna bit her lips...

"He would not..."S noted."We both know he is a sorcerer."

Sharchan rather bit his lips. He was jealous of that Black Lizard suddenly because Sienna appreciated him and he was stronger with his dark magic..."Well, at least I'm more handsome...and she loves me..."Sharchan tried to calm his mind but it was not working somehow.

"You should wear my pendants only from now on!" he hissed." Take it down, I will return it to him..." he looked at Sienna firmly.

"I can't take it off by myself, only he can, I will return it at dinner..." she noted.

Sharchan looked at the shiny black pendant. It somehow did not feel right to him. "It is like he protects her and owns her!" he raged in his mind." Hmm, can he make magic cages? Then no one will be able to pull her out..."Sharchan's snake thought in Sharchan's head."Well, he is my brother-in-law, I might ask him for help then. He saw for himself how hard it is to keep her contained."The sneaky snake started to make a new plan for his mate domination...

Sienna saw that Sharchan was thinking, so she turned to S.

"Don't be sad..." she smiled at him gently.

"I feel wrong." he sighed.

"You are still an amazing man and my great brother-in-law!" she touched his hand gently.

S looked at her upset. This was painful for him. He felt his pride down in dust...

Sienna felt that he was kind of sad, so she stood up. She walked to him and hugged him, pressing his head on her belly."S, please don't be so hard on yourself."She lifted his head to make him look at her." You will find your own love one day. Someone beautiful and special, who will make your heart sing again..."

"I don't want anyone else but you." he hugged her hips with his arms...

Sienna petted his long hair a bit sadly, but she tried to stay strong and not cry. She liked S a lot and she felt as if she was breaking his heart!

"You are amazing, but I want you to find your own happiness. Just give yourself more time...Go out and explore, maybe you find your true love and I will get a lovely sister-in-law..."Sienna crouched to him sliding through his hands and kissed his cheek.

"You tricked me..."S moaned..."I heard you in the library..."

Sienna kissed his cheek again..." We both tricked each other, but you started it and I still love you....as my amazing brother-in-law..." she looked into his eyes firmly.....her heart ached for him but she was decided.

"I love you too..."S sighed. He could feel his heart hurt.

He stood up holding Sienna's hands and lifting her to stand up in the process. He looked at her a bit hurt and Sienna saw he was trying to harden up.

"So you don't hold me responsible at all?" he asked her firmly.

"For what?"Sienna asked curiously.

"For what I did to you in the bed..." he looked at her seriously.

"Take it as an extra experience."She smiled sheepishly. "You have talent...I'm sure you will please your future mate well." she reddened up as a pepper.

S nodded."It is closed then. Let's talk no more of it." he said firmly and let Sienna's hands go slowly.

"Sure."Sienna smiled."She felt as if a big stone had fallen off her heart. It kind of sounded as if they made a business deal.

S glanced at Sharchan who was kind of thinking and watching them just by sideway. He promised his brother to let Sienna decide, so it was all up to her anyway.

"You are the only Snake King brother. Keep your queen well." S said seriously. The hurt was still sounding in his voice, but he was firm.

Then S turned back to Sienna. He smiled at her gently."Be happy with my brother." S kissed her forehead and went out.

Sienna looked at the closing door, it felt like a goodbye to her...

She glanced at Sharchan. He was watching the door too. He seemed thinking, so she touched his shoulder and looked at him a bit worriedly.

"Do, you think he will be ok?" she asked him.

"Sure. He is a good brother..."Sharchan nodded.

Sienna watched her mate's handsome face, his wild eyes, straight nose, hot lips and tanned skin...

"And you are my crazy snake..."Sienna smiled. "You jump into the fire for me...

Sharchan pulled her to sit on his lap and petted her head..."You are mine!"

"Sure I'm." Sienna circled his neck with her arms. "You are my first mate...and I love you so much my boiling hot Sharchan..." she nibbled at his lips. They were soft and warm. Sharchan put his hands around her waist...he squeezed her bum and kissed her passionately.

Meanwhile, S walked the Snake Castle corridors out buried in heavy thoughts. He mindlessly went out of the castle, to the Apple Orchard, just to think...He saw his father and his mother holding hands and walking together. Chantelle was giggling at Sharmut quite happily. S felt his heart clench."Sienna did that! She messed my father's mind and mine as well. But they finally look happy together. Mother stays with father, brother is the king, they do not need me here anymore..." he thought as they came closer to him.

"So?" his father asked.

S shook his head...

"Take your time."Sharmut nodded. "She might come to you by herself in the future..."

"No..."S shook his head."She is right. I have to carve my path and have my own future... "

"What do you mean son?"Sharmut asked curiously."It seems that Sharchet is growing up." he thought and felt secretly happy.

"It is time for me to head out."Sharchet decided.

"In the winter?" Sharmut asked a bit cheekily. He was so pleased.

"Yes!" S nodded..."I do not like hibernating at all." he said firmly.

"Do as you must..."Sharmut nodded."Remember your home is here...till you make your own..."

"Thank you, father, mother?" S kissed his mother's cheek goodbye and left...He went south to travel as Sharchan did. Now was his turn to seek his fortune...
