6. New Friend

Next Day

Waking up from a long sleep, brielle starts searching for her phone. Looking at time she screamed and rushed to bathrom 'SIKE!!!'

After having a short 3 minute bath she came out wearing only a towel. 'am going to be late, am going to be late, am going to be late!' mumbling these lines again and again, she dressed up. She rushed to kitchen just to have a bread toast and a glass of milk. While eating, she stepped out from her apartment, locking the door and college bag on her one shoulder.

Walking, more like a tiny running, she waved to a taxi which was coming exactly from her direction "TAXIII" she got in!

"To California State University, please!" brielle stated having a bite of her bread.

"Got it!" he started driving.

Finally she got into her college! Paying the driver, she again started running straightly to her class without wasting time. "EXCUSE ME SIR.. MAY I COME IN?" all class flinched hearing brielle's sudden and kinda loud voice. "You are late, you can stay there!" said professor pointing outside.

"Please.. Am sorry!" said brielle catching her breath.

"20 minutes of my class is already over! where were you??" pointed at his watch frustratedly.

"Sorry.. I overslept!" brielle said looking down.

"Well.. Get in.. Don't waste others time!" he said with a calm voice. Hearing this, brielle's face lit up. she happily thanked him "Thank you sir!" "Am forgiving you because it was your first time being like this, don't repeat again!" said warningly. "I'll never be late again!" she said running to her seat.

Time skipped to lunch time

Having phone in one hand and lunch in other hand, brielle searched for a seat to eat. She saw a empty table and walks towards it. While having a seat, her phone ringed. The moment she saw the caller id, her face lit up and answered!

"Hey! what's up?"

"Well... Nothing" brielle heard dizzy liam's voice.

"Whats with your voice? Did you catch a cold??" asked brielle with concern.

"No.. I just waked and wanted to know that if you gone to collegw or not." he yawns after finishing his sentence.

"Yea, am at college!"

"Hm.. Did you catched a cold tho?" liam said mocking brielle, as they both were at beach yesterday till midnight!

"Me?? catching a cold?? Lmfao.. In your drea ACHHOO" *brielle sneezes before finishing her sentence.

"ACHHOO... ACHHOO" *continous sneezing while on other hand, liam controlling his laughter.

"Someone said they don't have a cold- They are strong enough to catch a cold! right?" asked liam on an innocent voice.

"Hey, stop! Maybe someone is thinking about me! That's why.. ACHHO" brielle stated more like trying to win an argument.

"Okay okay, i believe you! but are you going to cafe today?"

"No.. ACHHO.. i took a off today!"

"Okay good then, i'll be at your apartment at around 7.30 with medicine!" brielle can hear liam brushing his teeth.

'Aww cutteee' brielle said in her mind.

"You don't need to bring me medi ACHHOO"

"Look how you are sneezing now and refuse to eat medicine?? Huh? are you a baby or what?"

"Blah blah blah" brielle mocked him by imitating him.

Liam silently laughed and said "I'll be at your apartment at 7.30 with medicine! Dare to refuse it, i'll kiss you like yesterday!" said liam making brielle blushed like a whole tomato

Not responding to liam, brielle sat their with a blushed and shocked mixed face! "Stfu" she said and cut the call feeling red and hot in her cheeks.

"How is your life with your boyfriend? Are you happy now??" someone said making brielle snap out from her thoughts.

"Huh? sorry, do i know you?" asked brielle with a confused face.

"Maybe you don't know me! But am at same class as you! May i sit here?" she asked politely.

"Oh sorry, i didn't gave much attention! And yea, sit please!" said brielle scratching her back neck.

"Am amy, Nice to meet you" she smiled.

"Am brielle" shaked her hands with amy.

"Actually i know! I am not really familiar with this college or this place! So, i would like to be friends with you" said amy.

"Yea sure, why not!" passing a cute smile, they both started talking random things.

"Wait, how do you know i have a boyfriend??" asked brielle with curiosity.

"Thats a long story! I think you don't remember but i talked with you once! On freshers day! I was trying to get along with you as i saw that others are with their boyfriends and friends! Only you alone. And i asked you if you know where is Principal room! Just a tiny excuse to be friends with you! But you talked less that day.. not only that day.. all days! So i waited for a perfect day to ask you and i can feel that you are changing! You was so happy these days and i would like to be friends with you! And not gonna lie, i know that you got a boyfriend!" she explained everything.

"Aww.. thats true! my boyfriend changed me!" brielle smiled.

They both again started talking class and random things.. Their both friendship went well even at its 1st day.

Brielle changed her seat to beside Amy. They do their homework together, eat together, study together, shared their number.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" brielle aksed out of nowhere in middle of lecture!

"WHAT?" unknowingly amy's sound was loud enough to disturd the class!

"You, get out!" professor shouted pointing at Amy.

Amy glared at brielle and went away while brielle hides using book.

Using phone outside the class humming a song, amy heard a loud scream in class.

"You.. get out!" amy giggled thinking that it would be brielle's plan but turned out someone else coming out from class.

"Oh Steve, was that you?" amy asked with disappointed

"Yea, actually i was looking for a good oppurtunity to talk to you! Only us!"

"Speak up" amy said scrolling her instagram feed.

"I love you! Be my girlfriend!"

Amy looked at steve with a shocked face! Having an eye contact they both are in their own world that they don't even heard professor saying 'get out' again! The next person rushed to them saying "Accept him" brielle said catching her breath!

"How do you know?" amy asked snapping out.

"He was suspicious so i guessed!" brielle said smiling at steve.

"Nice to meet you! Am brielle"

"Steve!" he said smiling.

"Now you, accept him" brielle demanded amy.

"What do you mean by 'accept him'?? I don't love him!" hearing this, steve got sad.

"Do you have someone in your heart or are you already dating?? steve asked not losing hope.

"No.. I am not dating and am not crushung at anyone. I just don't want to date now!"

"Oh, then its okay! Take your time and answer me!" steve said happily.

"Okay then, we are going, bye bye" brielle said dragging amy from there to canteen.

Steve happily leaned to wall being proud that he finally opened his heart to Amy, love of his life!
