Chapter 19

"Who are you?" She quickly asked, while I just stood there with the door opened

"I um-"

"She is my girlfriend." I hear a deep hoarse voice say, turning both of our attention to the black-haired boy who stood at his doorframe

"Tobio, you need to get into bed!" The lady scolds him while she redirects him to his bedroom

She soon returns and closes his bedroom door behind her and smiles at me.

"I'm glad we could meet. My name is Miwa Kageyama." She says with a bright smile on her face and I bow realizing that she was older than me

"My name is L/n F/n," I say and she starts to laugh

"I feel so old when people bow to me." She says while I look at her

"I'm guessing Kageyama has caused you problems." She says in a more serious tone after her laughter died down

"What do you mean?"

"He has always cared the most about volleyball, and sometimes doesn't realize he hurts the people around him because he is focused on volleyball." She says while she tossed some of her things into her bag before her eyes wander over to the time.

"I'm going to be late!" She panicked while she starts to run over to the kitchen to make something

"I promised Kageyama I would make him some tea." She said and I smiled before I offered

"I could make it for him," I say and she looks back at me and smiles

"Really, you would do that for me?" She asked and I nodded

She thanked me, before telling me some directions before heading out the door in a rush.

I started to boil the water for the tea, and I looked around the apartment.

"I wonder how much he pays for this apartment, it's so big," I say in aw, while I pour the steaming hot water into the mug and put the teabag in

I sit down at the table, while I wait for the tea to brew.

I heard the front door open causing me to wake up from my nap.

'I guess I didn't study.' I thought to myself while I sat up and looked at a pissed off Kageyama

"Hey, what's up," I say while I rubbed my eyes

"YOU ATE ONE OF MY YOGURTS!" He yelled suddenly causing me to flinch

"It's just yogurt, its not that big of a deal." I defend myself and he shook his head

"I said not to touch my stuff on my side of the fridge."

"I'll buy you one when I go to the store next time," I said and he shook his head

"Go and get me one now."

"But its dark out."

"Go." He said more sternly and I rolled my eyes while I got up

"IF I GET KIDNAPPED ITS YOUR FAULT!" I yelled while I walked towards the door and slammed the door shut.

I stared at the door, while I confusedly looked around the room

"What just happened?" I ask myself while I look around the room for any signs of Kageyama

'It felt so real' I think to myself while I got up and grabbed the tea, and walked towards his door still in a daze.

"Kageyama?" I call while I lightly knock on the door, and I hear blankets moved followed but a lazy 'What'

"I have your tea," I say and look at Kageyama who was wrapped up in blankets and didn't even glance my way

"Just leave it on the nightstand." He says sleepily and I walk over to the nightstand, and place the mug there before I began to exit to the room.

I feel warm fingers wrap around my wrist before I could get too far and I glance back at Kageyama who is staring at me

"How did you figure out where I lived?" He asked while his hand returned back to the warmth of his blanket

"Ask Akina that," I say holding my hands up in defense

"You're my stalker now." He mumbled while he continued to fight the sleepiness

I giggle at his comment "Sure, now get some sleep." I say while I pull the blanket over his arm that was exposed before I started to walk towards the door

"Oh yea, Kageyama have you eaten?" I ask and I heard a muffled 'No.'

I wander back into the kitchen while I pull out the stuff to make okayu, and toss everything into the rice cooker.

I figured while I waited for the okayu to cook I would watch TV.

"K-Kageyama?"

"What are you doing here?" I ask and he looks around the place

"I'm moving in, I thought whoever was living here before was suppose to be already moved out." He says and I shake my head

"I think you are on the wrong floor, I moved in here today," I say and he looks at a piece of paper

"3rd floor, apartment number 215... I'm in the right place. Maybe you are on the wrong floor." He says and I sigh

"How would I have gotten in here with a wrong key,"

I start to feel my head start to pound, causing me to rub my forehead in hope it goes away.

"K-Kageyama-" Was all I could call out before I felt my body become weightless and drop.

"L/n! Hey, wake up!" I hear my name called, while somebody softly shook me

"I want to sleep longer~" I mumbled and I felt a forehead rest against my arm, causing me to quickly look at the person.

"K-Kageyama," I called out, but he didn't answer me instead I felt small drops of water fall on my arm.

"I was so scared, I thought you were gone again." I hear him mumble causing me to wrap my arms around him

I was still unsure of what just happened but a pair of arms wrapped around me, while he rested his forehead on my shoulder.

'Why was I on the floor, and why is Kageyama so freaked out?' I asked myself while neither of us spoke, we just stayed like that in each other's embraces.

"Kageyama," I mumble, breaking the silence

"Huh?" I hear him mumble in return

"Why were you scared of losing me?" I shyly asked, and he removes his forehead to look at me

"Because I thought I missed my chance to tell you..." He said pausing to fight the sleepiness

"That I like you."
