After the two women had gathered more than ten fruits each, Chu Li brought them back to the High Duke's Public House. Instead of returning to Tianshu Courtyard, the women went to Jade Guardian Island to spend the night there.

There had been people managing and taking care of Jade Guardian Island all along. They were prepared to welcome Xiao Qi back at any time and would bring out the bedclothes and blankets to air them in the sun once every few days. Therefore, the women still had a place to stay despite their abrupt return. 

After they showed up, Jade Guardian Island instantly fell into a busy state. Xiao Tieying, his wife, and Xiao Baihe came rushing over upon receiving the news of their return. Judging by their excited chatter, it was likely that none of them would be sleeping that night. Jade Guardian Island had become very lively all of a sudden.
