Will You Be My Girlfriend?

Later that night, I ready myself for our dinner date. I'm kind of anxious since it's the first formal date for both of us. And so, I decided to wear my floral dress with 1-inch stiletto heels and style my hair with a wavy at the bottom. 

Then I glance at the mirror, checking myself, and put on some light makeup. 

"Perfect." I murmur to myself. 

Afterward, I grab my purse and walk outside the hotel room and stroll downstairs to the ground floor. 

As I saunter outside the hotel, I look at my wristwatch and murmur, "6 in the evening. I have one hour of our date." 

I walk on the sidewalk to reach the restaurant since it's near the hotel. Also, to glimpse the trail lights around the place. 

"Paris is really beautiful." I praise whilst my eyes wander the calming surroundings. 

Thereafter, I hear a loud crash and a scream comes from the road and a man says, "Hey! Are you all alright? Somebody call the ambulance!" 

Hurriedly, I run towards the scene and it's a horror. It's a motor accident as a man laying on the ground with blood all over his body. I remember that I'm a certified volunteer first aid personnel. And so, I run towards the injured man to help them. Then, I ask the other man beside him. 

"Is he alright? What happened?" I ask.

"H-he's conscious. His b-brake halted and that r-results in off-balance!" The other man panics as he explains. I nod and check the man's injury. 

"I-it hurts." The man whispers. 

"Stay calm, I'm a medical personnel." Then, I hold his wrist to check his pulse. 

Within one minute of checking his pulse and says, "Pulse, 140bpm." 

"M-my leg…" the man stutters. 

I check his left leg and I assume that it has a fracture. Thus, I remove my scarf around my neck. 

"I'll stop the blood, please tell me if it hurts," I inform as I cover the injury around his left leg. 

After a few minutes, an ambulance arrives as the emergency personnel steps outside the ambulance as they lift the man's body and get him inside. 

Then, I walk closer to one of the staff and report the vital signs, "The patient's pulse is 140bpm and then, his left femur has a fracture. Also, I did the first aid treatment to him." 

"I'm glad that it has medical personnel around the road. Thank you, ma'am." Then, I nod with a smile to the personnel. 

"You're welcome, sir. I'll be off for now."  I inform. But when I walk away to the ambulance, he clasps my wrist to stop me from walking.

"Ma'am you can come with us." My eyes wide as I'm slowly taken aback yet the staff pushes me inside the ambulance.

"W-wait. I-I n-need to meet someone!" I stutter but they haven't heard me since they're very busy. I release a sigh and silence myself. 

After 10 minutes, we arrive at the hospital, and hurriedly, we walk outside the ambulance as I am hesitant to walk inside. Then, he pushes me inside the emergency room and saunters to the counter. 

"I hear you are the one who saved the man." I slowly nod. 

"Then, wait for a while until the patient's parents arrive." My eyes wide as I look at my wristwatch and it's 7 in the evening. 

"I'm late for our date." I murmur

I search for my phone inside my bag to call Taehyung but weirdly, my phone isn't inside it. 

"I-I don't have a pocket." I murmur as I look elsewhere. 

Later, I stare at the counter, striving to ask the arrival time of the patient's parents. Luckily, they arrive before I ask the staff. 

"Where's my son? Who saved my son?" The mother asks the counter and the staff points at me. She looks at me and holds my hand. 

"Thank you for saving my son!" She explains, pulls me closer to her, and hugs me. 

"I-it's fine. Ahm, I'll get going." I say to the mother. 

"Okay, I'm sorry, and thank you again." I then nod and walk outside the emergency room and hurriedly call a cab.

And when the cab stops, I walk inside and exclaim to the driver, "At the Shouflee Restaurant!" The driver flinches when hearing me shout. 

"Y-yes ma'am!" And the driver drives faster to the destination. Unluckily, it has traffic. 

"Ma'am, I think we can't make it since the traffic is very protracted." 

"What!!?" I look at my wristwatch and it's 8:30 in the evening! 

"I-I'll be off now. Thank you." I give my pay before walking outside the cab and sprint to the restaurant. 

"Why am I so late!?" I exclaim and run fast towards the restaurant.

Suddenly, I stumble on the floor and I realize that my left heel broke. I sigh as my tears rush down my cheeks. My hand touches the rail and slowly stands whilst wiping my tears. 

"I can do this," I whisper. 

Then, I glimpse at the restaurant and slowly walk inside. My eyes wander the place to search for Taehyung yet I haven't seen him. Instead, the customers are staring at me. Subsequently, I look at my dress and it's full of blood. 

"I-I ruined my date." I murmur. Suddenly, I feel an arm on my head.

"I'm worried about you." I hear Taehyung whisper, then I look at him as he scans my dress. My eyes release tears and hug him tight. 

"I-I'm sorry if I ruined our date! I-I d-decide to help the man." 

"Shhh, I know so don't say a word. Do you want to go home?" I slowly nod as he clasps his hand around mine and walks outside the restaurant. Then, he wraps the coat around me and wraps his arms around my waist.

After a long journey, we stop at the center of the Eiffel Tower. He looks at me with a smile. 

"I know it's not a good dinner date but I'm happy that you are okay and you are with me. It's been a long time since I suppress my feelings for you but now, I decided to tell you and to feel you what I feel." He sighs in relief as he lifts his arms.

Suddenly, the lights around the place become violet. And individually, they walk towards me as they give the variegated tulips. 

Taehyung suddenly walks closer to me and says, "I want you to be with me, I want you to be a part of your life and I'm falling in love with you." He then smiles.

I feel my heart skip a beat as my tears continue to flow through my cheeks when feeling the love inside me. 

He holds my hand as he slides the ring onto my finger and sincerely asks, "Minsoo, will you be my girlfriend?" 

Thus, the flowers slide off on my arms as I hug him tightly and give a peck of his lips and reply, "Yes!"
