They exchanged a few hostile looks before Natalia questioned. "What was the meaning behind those words that you said at the table?" She was being defensive. Kiara crossed her arms and gave her a provoking look. 

She couldn't believe that she was still acting even though Oz wasn't there. There was no way she didn't know what her mother was doing to earn some favors from rich old men just so she could get a hold of their money. She could not help but ask.

"Are you asking because you don't know or because you want me to believe that you don't know anything?" 

"Why would I do that?" Natalia was baffled. 

"I don't know… Because of Oz? You want him to see the good angelic side of you only. I guess." She shook her shoulders. 

Natalia frowned, she wasn't liking this conversation one bit and the same was her remarks about the person she was having the conversation with.
