Ambushed

The commander calls all of the guards in the arena training. Goranu follows him and asks him what he should do. "What should I do sir?". The commander then replies. "Do whatever you have to do to protect this god forsaken place."

Korina runs towards the clinic, where Mary is all alone. She then arrives, panting, and all sweaty. "Are you alright Mary?" Mary then asks her, "Why wouldnt I be?". Suddenly, A group of elves enter the clinic. Korina then gabs Mary and hides in the storage room of the clinic. "Its too quiet." An elf says. "Where are the staff here?" The elves then search the place.

Meanwhile, at the cages, the elves take all of the monsters with them. "Come on, grab em faster." An elf says. Naxhia then grabs one of the elves weapons and attacks them. "Get him!" The elves shout. The elves then surround him. "Stay back you elves, Im not going to be someones test subject again."

Naxhia then swings his weapon, a spear, down at an elf, slicing him in half. The other elves then thrust their spears at him, Naxhia then jumps up and uses a skill. "Flame Circle". The ground which the elves stand on then lights up, with runes and ancient text. "Run!" One of the elves shout, but it was too late. A pillar of flame then rose from the runes and burnt the elves to a crisp.

At the armory, Goranu was grabbing weapons and armor. "Where are you taking all that?" A guard asks. "You'll see." Goranu then runs towards the cages, with a bag full of equipment. He then saw the cages surrounded by elves with Naxhia fighting them off. "Naxhia, catch!" He then threw the bag towards Naxhia. Goranu then jumps up with sword in hand and slashes the elves as he lands. Naxhia asks him what its for. "Pass those to all of the monsters here." Goranu replies.

Goranu then shouts to all of the monsters. "I ask of all of you, please help me defend this place." One of the monsters then gets angry. "Why the fuck would we help you defend the place where we get tortured and become someones spider rat!?" (Spider rats are the otherwordly equivalent of guinne pigs in this world)

Naxhia then defends Goranus statement. "Would you rather get experimented on by elves, or will you fight for a chance to be free!?" The other monsters then agree, but some of them are still angry. "I would rather die than help those human scum!" One of the monsters shout. Rishya then shouts back."Would you actually do that, or is it all talk!?" Rishya then grabs a sword from the bag and points it at the monster. "Im giving you the chance to die like you said, or are you just all talk!?" They then calm down and agrees to Goranu.

At the commanders point, he was battling elves with the guards. "Dont let them pass this point you here me!" The commander shouts. Goranu and the other monsters then arrive. "Why are all the monsters out? And why do they have armor." The commander asks. Goranu then replies. "I'll explain it later."

Goranu then takes command of them. "Arrange yourselves by your range of attack, short range weapons like swords at the front, middle range weapons like spears in the middle, and long range weapons like bows at the back." They then arrange themselves according to Goranus order. "Why the hell do we have to follow that kids orders?" One of the monsters say. Naxhia then stares at them with intimidation which silences them.

The elves then start approaching. Goranu then orders the archers to shoot. A volley of arrows then fly towards the elves, killing a quarter of them. Goranu then orders the swordsmen and spearmen to attack, following behind them. Some of the elves and monsters get injured or die from the fight. The humans then help the monsters fight, and with the commander riding on his horse with a spear in hand, he rushes the elves.

The elves then launch a counterattack. The elf commander orders the elf mages to use a lightning spell called "Lightning cage". The mages then start chanting and a bolt of lightning starts to form and flies towards the humans and monsters.

The bolt then spreads out and creates a cage of electricity, trapping them. Goranu then sits down and uses "Strategist" and came up with an idea. Goranu then grabs the commanders spear which is made up fully of metal and throws it towards the elves.

It passes through the cage and acts as a conductor, harnessing the electricity of the cage.

The spear then lands at the elves, and the electricity surges through the ground, killing the elves. Goranu then takes off all the metal on his armor and keeps the leather and puts it on his feet. "I suggest you do the same if you dont want to die by getting electrecuted." Goranu says. The others then do the same and weren't killed by the electricity.

Meanwhile, 10 minutes ago, Korina grabbed a scalpel to try to defend Mary with. "It's too dangerous!" Mary whispers. "It'll be fine, I promise." Korina replies. One of the elves then get closer to the storage room, which Korina jumps out and slashes his throat. The other elves then sorround her. Korina then runs towards one of the elves and stabs him, she then grabs his sword and kills him with it.

One of the other elves then runs towards her, swinging his sword, but Korina evades it and slashes his stomach. Korina then jumps up and slashes an elves throat, which another elf reacts, but Korina already decapitated him. The last elf then begs for mercy. "Please, don't kill me, I wont tell anyone about this, plea-" Korina then slashed his throat.

Mary then saw Korina, covered in blood. "This isn't the Korina I know, who are you!?" Mary's face filled with terror. She then grabs a scalpel and threatens Korina with it. "Who are you!?" Korina then replies. "It's me!" Korinas face tearing up. Korina then hugs Mary. "It's me! Why can't you see!"

Mary then drops the scalpel and hugs her back. "Im sorry, I was just shocked to see you like this, this isn't like you."

Korina then explains it to her. "I've been keeping a secret fron you, since it's a secret that might have killed you." They then sit down. "What is it?" Mary asks. "I used to be an assasin under the kings secret service. I couldn't tell you this since I was afraid of losing you."

Mary then smiled at Korina. "You will never lose me, since well grow old together, be happy together, and love each other, in sickness and in health, just like in our vows to each other." Mary then kissed Korina. "Isn't that what we promised each other?" Korina then replies. "You're right, and Im sorry." They then stand up, and go to the commander.
