Fighting against a squirrel, large amount of exp, level 4
In the next morning, the substances acting like sun were illuminating the heavenly pit.
Within a certain cave, a rustle sounded as a round object began to move.
Who could it be except from Long Di Tian.
"Well, that was a good night sleep" yesterday Long Di Tian had hunted for hours straight which caused him fatigue coupled with the mental fatigue for seeing the wild cat which could easily take his life out of his shell he was tired and slept like a log.
"It's the start of another day of hunting and trying to survive" Long Di Tian nudged his round body and walked out of the cave.
With every step he took, strange waves of unknown energy radiated from his body, the waves travelled for tens of meters before returning to him.
This is something he found yesterday after his hunting session.
Instead of sending waves for hundred meters which only resulted in somewhat fuzzy images he could control the waves to stack on top of each other increasing their effectiveness by many times, this resulted in him obtaining senses which far surpassed his five senses in his prior life as a human.
Of course, this also has its own downside, he won't be able to know anything happening at fifty meters away from him.
This means he could barely extent his energy waves to fifty meters after giving his all, this was very little compared to the hundreds of meters he could scan before, but the plus point of having an even more clear vision made up for it.
"OH?!" just as he was walking Di Tian caught a strange frequency from through the energy waves.
'This is heart pulse of a creature, and according to the little noise it's making this creature is definitely not a big predator' Di Tian thought, he was getting proficient in using the <Extra Lesser Senses>
Unlike before he could now tell a little about the creature that got in the range of his scanning just by hearing its heartbeat and the sound of its footsteps.
Di Tian slowly moved, after a few minutes he finally got to where the sound came from.
Di Tian was hiding within the dense bushes he found, in front of him stood a towering tree that reached the height of almost ten meters.
"The sound came from this tree".
Carefully observing the tree with his <Extra Lesser Senses> he finally located the creature on the lowest branch of the tree a squirrel was happily enjoying its meal not knowing that it was being watched.
"Well, that's a tough prey to hunt" squirrels are very agile creatures, so it wasn't easy to hunt them.
Just as Di Tian was thinking of leaving this place and searching for another prey to hunt, he saw what seemed to be a creature's den.
It was big enough for small creatures to go in and out off without any problems, and it wasn't really high either.
"I'm guessing that is the den of that squirrel, well that's settles it I will wait until it goes back to its den again, then I will ambush it when it tries to come out" the amount of exp he could get from the squirrel should be incomparable to the creatures he had already hunted before.
The greed of getting more exp than a whole day of hunting small creatures made Di Tian stubbornly stay hidden near the tree.

Several hours later…
When Di Tian was about to run out of patience the little squirrel finally headed to its den.
"Finally, I was even starting to think that the little basterd won't return to its home for today" Di Tian let out a sight of relieve after seeing the squirrel heading back.
He slowly walked to the squirrel's den without making any noise, he waited near the den ready to ambush the squirrel.
He didn't have to wait for long as the squirrel came back quickly.
"Now!!!" when the distance between both was less than 2 meters Di Tian immediately used his skill <Shell Bash>
"Squeak!!!" the squirrel was taken aback when it saw something moving towards itself while emitting hostility.
Fortunately, or not, Di Tian bashed his shell against the squirrel, although the creature failed to evade his attack completely it wasn't known as one of the difficult preys to hunt for nothing.
At the last moment squirrel tilted its body evading the fatal blow, of course it didn't come out of it uninjured either, its left leg was the part that tanked Di Tian's attack.
Even though its injury wasn't anything serious, it was now impossible for the creature to climb one of the trees nearby to lose Di Tian.
The only option left was either fight to death or keep evading.
"You won't escape for a second time" Di Tian didn't lose hope after seeing the squirrel, knowing that it wouldn't be able to climb the tree to escape he still has a chance to hunt the creature.
Thinking about the huge amount of exp he will receive after successfully hunting it down ignited his fighting spirit making him even more determined.
Di Tian kept attacking it by using <Shell Bash> while the squirrel kept evading his every blow with its extraordinary reflexes and speed.
If this keeps up you will undoubtably be the one to lose, your stamina is far lower than your opponent.
"I Know but what am I supposed to do, this little basterd is very agile no matter how I attack it evades it with its fast speed".
Even a mouse will fight back at the slightest notice of any weakness showed by its opponent.
"And how am I… wait I think I know what to do" Di Tian suddenly had a bold idea in his mind.
"Well, we won't know until we try" he thought as he looked at the squirrel trying to evade his attacks.
This whole conversation happened in less than a second, meanwhile Di Tian hadn't stopped attacking.
"Well then let's do this" Di Tian again activated his skill again, but this time he had purposely missed his attack and at the same time he tilted his body so his legs will be open for the creature to attack.
As he expected when he showed his weakness the squirrel didn't hesitate even for second before baring its fangs upon him.
It used its teeth that could crush even the shell of walnuts and bit at Di Tian's leg.
"Damn this hurts like hell" a clear sense of pain assaulted him, Di Tian was sure that he must've lost at least one point of his vitality under that blow.
Luckily for him the creature failed to pierce his jet-black scales that even though seemed to be soft were very durable.
"Now you are under my grasp" Di Tian tried to ignore the pain he felt and raised his tail which he didn't used in his hunting until now.
SWOOSH!!!
With the sound of wind being sliced apart, the jet-black scaly tail slammed on the squirrel's body.
Squeak!!!
The creature's body was sent flying by the impact.
BOOM!

Di Tian didn't have enough time to listen to the system announcement as the squirrel got up and tried to run away.
"You won't be going anywhere, your fate is to become my exp" Di Tian charged with <Shell Bash>
The squirrel's body was once again sent flying until it collided against a tree with a bang.
Squeak!
The creature got up again and tied to run away only to find that it couldn't do anything except crawl on the ground.
It had to be said that the endurance of this little guy was truly astonishing, even though it was injured to the extent to only being able to crawl now it hadn't lost the will to live as it tried to crawl.
"Its stats are obviously greater than any prey I have hunted before" unfortunately for the creature Di Tian didn't feel any admiration or pity upon seeing the creature's astonishing endurance and courage, all he could think about was the amount of exp he will get from it and how many levels he will cross from that exp.
SWOOSH!!!
Squeak! Squeak! Squeak!
The creature painful cries resounded as Di Tian mercilessly attacked the creature with his newly obtained skill.
Even though the jet-black scales on his tail were on a little soft, they were still nonetheless scales, their durability surpassed any normal skin or hide, the damage of his tail wasn't anything to scoff at either.
"Finally it has gone silent" Di Tian sighted as he looked at the corpse in front of him, after slamming his tail for about a minute or so the creature finally breathed its last.
