I have Two Classes??

E entered the guild hall. Just beyond it's doors he was met with the overwhelming volume of quite a few groups of people speaking amongst themselves at their tables. The layout of the building almost mirrored that of the inn but at the backside of the room where the bar was, was a large quest board and a couple of attendees behind a meshed screen. E decided to approach.

As E walked across the room he noted a few of the groups look up at him but continued their business. A few of the groups looked to be a bit older in their late twenties, but not all human. The occasional orc, elf and catfolk about the room. E noticed a lone goblin sitting at a table seemed to be cutting a potato. E reached in his bag and grab his scroll and coin purse.

" Hello I'm here to sign up at the guild hall and receive my class." E said the small gnome behind the counter. A few ears perked up and E felt the stares of some people on his back.

" Okay, your class stone is 5 silvers, or fifty copper, and I will need a small blood sample and any recommendations you may have. Present me your fingure tip so I may put it on the blood puzzle knot and discern your age and race." the gnome said in his wirey high pitch voice.

E handed over his scroll and put his hand in his bag and thought of 5 silvers and they appeared in his finger tips. He wiggled his fingers and look into the bag to try and cloak that the bag was magical. After a small charade he gave over the coin and presented his palm. With a quick flick of a needle the gnomish man pricked his finger and took a small piece of paper to his puncture. Afterwords he slid over a strange device from his desk and slid the piece of paper into a small opening on top of it. After a small shudder and a faint light the paper came back out much longer and with wording written in his blood. The gnomish man look at at E and pointed to a line on the paper that read Half-elf.

" Does this information look correct?"

" Yes thank you."

The gnomish man slid the coin off the counter into his child like hands and opened a drawer. He put the coins in a small box and opened a small bag next to it. He pulled out a small clear stone resembling granite. Even in his hands it was small. After a moment he look look up at E. " I remind you we are not responsible for any class you receive, if it not satisfactory to you we hold no liability. In the event you receive any basic class in the civilian aptitude you will only ever be able to take on quests at rank E and below. As you know any and all classes are final as a base and we will not issue another stone. Afterwards you will hold the puzzle knot that is currently still in tune with your blood and answer a few simple questions."

" Okay let's do it." E said eagerly. He could feel the daggers of eyes around the room stab his back as the room fell silent.

The gnome placed the stone in his hand and close E's fingers around it after a few second E felt it dissolve into his palm. A faint light flickered through his grasp. He opened his hand and it was gone. Then a strange whelming wave came over him. From head to toe he felt a shiver roll across his skin and a few seconds later a small ethereal interface came into view in front of him.

"What the??! DAMNIT" E spoke out.

" I apologize if you didn't receive a class you preferred but please hold you transgressions until after the questions" The gnome had seen behavior like this before and before E could say anything further he quickly grabbed his hand and placed it atop the puzzle knot. " I will now ask you a few questions. What class are you"

" Ranger a..." Before he could continue he was cut off

" What are your Ranger skills?

" Herbalism, Hunting, Mart..." he was cut off again

" Your class skills not your proficiencies"

" Oh uhm, Long Shot, Called shot, Up close and deadly"

" Since you're Human. Do you have a racial bonus that states new feat available? "

" Yes"

After that the gnome let go of his hand and the puzzleknot spit out another piece of paper. After reviewing it and then looking at the scroll E had given him he pulled out another piece of parchment jotted down his findings. After a few moments of silence E tried to ask a couple of questions before getting shushed. E felt as if he had done something wrong as the gnome began to hurry up his paperwork with a few stamps and handed him a card.

" This is your Guild Hall certification. It states clearly here your class, skills and race, when presented an offer or presenting an offer to make a party it is required you show your would be team your credentials. At the time of accepting quests from a guild hall, you must present the card to a representative to receive the quest. And lastly I have here that you're Squire to a Midas Lumin and any unpayed quest rewards are due to you henceforth with his official retirement. There are currently..." the gnome trailed off reflecting a large tome

" Three unpaid quest rewards. One for a sum of 100 gold pieces, One for a armor set made by Brash Forlorn in the Capital city of Trusk in the kindgom of Dworlorn, and another for Spell issued by Archmage Animiren of the Capital city of Carth, Lionné. Obviously you will have to seek out the later 2 rewards and I can issue the gold to you or you can leave it as a balance on your guild card." The gnome look at E with a discerning eye.

E notes the room fell silent. He turned around to see if somehow the room had been vacant, only to look on to see most everyone in the building had a blank stare with their jaws almost unhinged. E chuckled a nervous giggle under his breath and the room turned loud with out crying party's yelling amongst themselves or even out to him.

"Join our party! We need a ranged fighter!"

"Did he say THE Brash forlorn?!"

" A free spell from the Archmage Herself!"

" Mother fuckers rich, he's wearing drab what the hell"

" I'll have your babies!!"

The banter grew on and E had no idea who to respond to first. He grew flushed and turned back to the gnome. " Uhh just put it on my card uhm.. Cc.. cc...c .. can I ask you a question? What if " again he was cut off.

" Thank you for signing up with the guild hall if you need room and board seek the party building two buildings over and they can charge your card. Safe travels." The gnome closed his shutter's abruptly. Leaving E in a puzzled state.

"What am I gonna do.. damnit I didn't become a knight. 100 Gold is that a lot? What does all the stuff mean. E wandered the room ignoring people who came to him with a passing wave of the hand. He found himself at at table taking a seat in his confused state as he fought his mental conundrum. When he came to he look up to see a small goblin fellow eating raw potatoes.

"Hi."
