"FIGHT ME, KENTARO!!"

"THAT'S NOT MY NAME AND YOU KNOW IT!! INOSUKE, STOP HITTING YOUR HEAD AGAINST THE WALL! ZENITSU, LEAVE NEZUKO ALONE!"

Y/N POV (Age 14):

I stood in shock at the door to the room. Three boys were chasing each other around the room in circles, while a demon girl was running in front of them all. There was a blonde-haired boy, a blue-haired boy, and a burgundy-haired boy. Aoi was by the door trying desperately to calm them down but to no avail. Seeing her struggles, I summoned all of my strength before clearing my throat and yelled:

"HEY! STOP RUNNING AROUND AND SCREAMING LIKE LUNATICS!!! YOU'RE MAKING YOUR RECOVERY SLOWER AND YOU ARE CAUSING AOI TROUBLE!!"

All of the chasing that was happening earlier was brought to an abrupt stop as they only just realized the arrival of a new person in the room.

"A-Ah, thanks Y/N-san," Aoi whispered into my ear.

"Don't sweat it," I whispered back.

"I'm so sorry, we were being incredibly impolite Aoi-san and..?"

"Y/N L/N."

"..Y/N-san! Please forgive us for our behaviour!" The burgundy-haired boy yelled, coming up and bowing in front of me and Aoi repeatedly, apologizing over and over again. Meanwhile, his friends went back to what they were doing before.

"Don't worry about it..?"

"Tanjiro Kamado."

"Thanks. Don't worry about it then, Tanjiro-san."

Tanjiro then smiled at me before shouting at the two boys to be quiet. He then told them to come over and politely introduce themselves.

"Zenitsu Agatsuma," The yellow-haired boy started, "P-Please marry me!! Otherwise, I'll end up dying alone because I'm too weak! Please, Y/N-cha—"

Tanjiro then smacked Zenitsu in the back of the head before starting to apologize again. 'E-Eh? Why did he just ask me to marry him? We only just met. Regardless, I do feel a bit bad having to turn him down as he seems so desperate..' You swiftly dismissed what Zenitsu said and reassured Tanjiro that it was okay before continuing with the introductions.

"Inosuke Hashibira, King of the Mountain!!" Yelled the blue-haired boy, who I now noticed had put on a boar mask. (Please pretend he didn't lose his ability to yell after being beaten up by the father spider demon for the plot.)

"Well, it's nice to meet you two, and I'm sorry but I'm not going to marry you Zenitsu. Maybe we could start off as friends..?"

"Y/N-chan, you're such a goddess, being my friend.." Zenitsu replied before Tanjiro told him to be quiet.

"Anyway, I better get back to my room for some rest as I will be leaving in the morning. I hope you guys recover soon!"

"Thanks, Y/N-san!" Tanjiro yelled as I shut the shoji behind me as I left.
