Servant quarters

The servant quarters were separated by a wall from the garden. It was a big place, as big as a village, it was a single building going upto only 2 floors. Many people were there, some were maids, some were Chefs and some were knights. All of the servants of the fortress resided here as they took different shifts in the fortress. It was different for personal servant's as they were assigned to duke's children from their chilhood, they had to live in the lower parts of the fortress to be available whenever their masters needed them.

There was two personal servant assigned to each member of the Duke's family. One was a knight and the other was a maid. Liam's personal servant's were the maid Lily, who was younger then him, and the middle-aged knight Jared standing outside his room. Liam was not noticed by anyone, as he was wearing simple plain clothes, that became dusty as he had fell from the wall, and the fact that not many servant's knew his face, because he didn't left his room frequently. Liam sat at the corner of the hall where a bunch of maids were gossiping, they were discussing about the discrimination between the duke's children.

Liam remained there for a while and came to know about a lot of stuff. All the maids were under the supervision of the Head maid, and that she was the personal servant of Duke's youngest wife, "Lady Rose`h Bronxe" He also learned about the personalities of his brothers, and sisters. Although the illegitimate's were large in number, but they had as little as no authority whatsoever, that's why they were treated poorly compared to the official's.

There were only 3 official children's left in the second House, 2 were the children of Lady Rose`h Bronxe and the 3rd was the youngest of the official's. He was the second son of the Eldest wife Lady lea`dale Bronxe, There were only 3 children in the Main House. The 2 eldest of the official's and lastly the one and only of the illegitimate, who was fighting on par with the official's for the throne. he had gained favor of the duke because of his talents, and thus was the reason why the official wife's were on edge. 12 of the illegitimate's had already died because of their scheme's, meaning only 11 children's remained, 5 were the official's and remaining six were the illegitimate's.

Out of the 8 in the second house, The 5 illegitimate were treated on the same level as commoners. He also heard about himself, they said Young master Xen was bullied to the point, that he is now afraid of even coming out of his room. Thanks to this information Liam now had a good understanding of his situation.

After he had gotten some basic understanding of his situation. Liam stood up and went toward's the wall, He tried to climb the wall but without the tree it was not possible for him to climb. He dragged the wooden logs near the wall and stacked them. Liam then climbed the wall with ease and jumped on the other side, as he landed he stood back up, He smirked and said. 'What a great harvest.'

Liam then went back inside, and washed himself up, cause the next location he was going to was the library.
