The Bad and Good News

The gloomy air filled the whole dining hall in the mansion the next morning. There were not many words coming from their mouths. Everyone seemed to be careful with everything.

"Let's visit him around twelve today." Michael turned to Rachel who had been quiet since the moment she sat on her seat. She did tell him earlier that she wanted to visit Liam at the hospital today and he agreed.

"Mom…" Adam called her. "Don't worry. I know he will recover." Even though he knew his words were nothing but a lie, he tried to ease her troubled heart at least a little.

Rachel nodded weakly. Her complexion looked better today, although she still looked pale. 

"Dad, mom…" Alexander chimed in. "I'm going to my in-laws' house after this. He was not well these past days." He explained.

"Sure…go. It's been a while since we met him. Send my regards to your father Camellia." Michael smiled looking at her.

Camellia exchanged her smile with him and nodded.
