"No, honey please…" Alexander tried to persuade Camellia to have a rest. She insisted on going to Andrew's room. "He is okay now. Rest first please…"
"What if…" She paused. Her eyes are getting teary. "What if when I am resting here, he leaves us?" Even the thought of that made her heart break into pieces. She really wasn't ready for this.
Alexander's words stuck at his throat. What could he say in reply to Camellia's question.
"You can't even promise me anything. So please Biey, just let me by his side." She cried again, covering her face with her palm.
Alexander pulled her for an embrace and caressed her head that rested on his tummy. "Okay, stop crying. Let's eat first, you don't want to regret anything later."
She pulled away and looked up at him, "I'm sorry…" Her lower lips pursed out and the tears kept on streaming down on her cheeks.
