After the meeting, I invited the prince and his companion to a garden where we had a picnic. I even bring out a bottle of wine I made using the [Faerie Feast]. Everyone in this picnic is already an adult (16 years old) according to the law of Queendom of Falena.

So they can drink alcohol.

I take out the picnic blanket and the food from my inventory. I put the food on the blanket and took out a bottle of wine. I pour the wine and let them enjoy it. I chuckle a little when I see Frey widen his eyes after he takes a sip of the wine.

"Delicious."

Lyon and Sialeeds nod their heads in agreement. Sialeeds looks at me and says.

"How much is a bottle of wine? I want it. I will buy it from you."

"Ha! You can have them. As long as you are willing to share it with me, I don't mind sharing all the bottles I have with you."

Sialeeds looks at me and giggles.

"Fufufufufu~ Are you seducing me, Gerrald? I'm not that easy, you know? However, I don't mind having a companion while enjoying a glass of wine."

I smile and sit next to her. She takes a deep breath and enjoys the smell of the wine before taking another sip of it. She releases a sigh and says.

"Haaa… With your food and your drink alone, I'm willing to marry you."

"I like to take my relationship a little bit slow. Let's get to know each other for a bit before we commit, okay?"

I give her a cheerful smile and see her chuckle. She is beautiful. Her game picture did not do her justice.

"That's good. However, I cannot promise you that. I like to take it fast, you know? I don't like my prey to run away."

"Oh? Am I a prey now, huh?"

"Fufufufu~ Maybe~ You are a great catch, after all."

"Oh, my~ Thank you."

We exchange banter for who knows how long while Lyon and Frey enjoy the food I cooked this morning. After talking, we stay silent and enjoy each other's presence while looking at the flower bed in front of us.

She looked at me in the eyes with the most vulnerable-looking expression. She looks like someone who is defenseless, and my instinct is to protect her. It is like seeing an adorable kitten looking at you with their wide eyes.

I look at her for a second and look into the sky. I take a deep breath and stay silent for a few seconds. After that, I look at her and say,

"More than a year but less than two years. I'm sorry, but this is the only thing I can give you."

That is the information I get from playing the game and reading all the books about it.

"A year, huh? That is good. I can handle a year of war. How about the future? Can you tell me what you see? Can you tell me if we can achieve peace?"

I nod and do another looking into the sky bullshit for a minute, this time. I look at her and say.

"There are three paths. The first is when Frey comes with Georg to the Northern continent to increase his experience to protect his sister better. The second one is where Frey stayed in the kingdom after the war ended and became the Commander of the Queen's Knight for the Princess."

"What?!"

I chuckle a little when the three of them shout at once. I raise my hand to stop their barrage of questions and say.

"Don't worry. He will not marry his sister. The princess makes a new rule so that her beloved brother will be the one protecting her."

Sialeeds releases a sigh and says.

"You scare me for a second. I thought that little Frey Frey had gone off the rails and decided to marry his own sister."

I chuckle a little and say.

"No. He is not a degenerate. The last one is where Frey died, and the princess is using the Sun Rune to destroy the entire continent."

Sialeeds looked at me in shock. I can even see Frey drop his fork to the ground at that news.

"How can that outcome be peaceful?!"

"It will be a peace. There will be no more life in the Southern Continent, which is an ultimate peace. It's not good, but you ask if there is an outcome where Falena is at peace. However, that is not the important thing."

"How can that not be the important thing?! The entire life on the continent is gone!"

I look at her and say.

"Each one of those endings, you are dead."

I lean over and whisper something into her ears.

"You sacrifice yourself to kill as many nobles as you can to create a better future for Freyjadour and the princess."

She looks at me in shock for a second before nodding.

"I don't mind."

I sigh and flick her forehead.

"Don't say that. Think of your nephew and niece. They are saddened because of your death. Let me handle this. Let me take the burden of making a better future for you and your family."

She looks at me right in the eyes. I can see her expression change one and to another in quick succession before it stops in confusion a few seconds later. She takes a deep breath and says.

"Why?"

"Huh? Why are you doing this? What will you get from doing this?"

I look at her and give her a bright smile.

"I will get the most beautiful smile in the world."

I touch her cheek and say.

"That is the greatest reward in the world. A beautiful smile of a beautiful woman."

I never thought that Sialeeds would blush that hard. The saying of a blushing like a ripe tomato contains some truth, after all.
