First day of job (part 2)

Lily is struggling to hold Leonard. This guy is not only huge but too heavy for my small body Lily complain inside her head. She look at the man standing like statue accusingly.

James clear his throat awkwardly "Let me help you". Somehow James and Lily get Leonard on his bed.

Lily look at the man " You are? "

"I'm James one of boss assistant" James said he doesn't want to give in too much details. He doesn't know if he could trust her even though his boss have taken great interest in this woman but it's better to be save then sorry.

Lily look confusedly at James "there are more assistant"

James clear his throat "Yes ...one more his name is Scott you will meet him soon"

Lily nodded and look at Leonard. She don't know why but a sudden emotion she that she couldn't describe "this is gun shot why didn't you directly take him to the hospital" Lily panic's

James look at Lily panic state "I'm sorry ma'am but u can't answer you. But I have already inform the doctor. He is coming with his team"

But before she could ask for more a team of doctors appears inside Leonard room. Both Lily and James we told to move outside and wait. After the hour of surgery doctor came out and look towards James "thankfully the bullet didn't any vital part. He is save now but he can't take load on his left hand as bullet hit on his left shoulder for atleast 2 weeks or else stitches will reopen. And most importantly change his dressing time to time. If any pain arise give him the painkillers that I have prescribe" . The doctor slightly look at Lily. He never saw any woman inside Leonard house but thinking that this lady could be someone of important he gave a slight nod and left the room with his team.

James look at Lily "Ma'am could you please stay with boss. I have something important to do"

Lily nodded and sit beside Leonard. She till now digesting everything that take place. Leonard got hit by bullet which is something serious issue, this type of case generally there is an involvement of police. But Leonard instead of going to hospital the entire team of doctors came up for his surgery without any hesitation. Just exactly who is he. Many questions were running inside in her mind. Even James refuse to answer which seems whoever is he but one thing she is sure he is a very dangerous man.

Leonard open his eyes. His eyes is wandering around and then his eyes falls on the woman sleeping beside him. Warmth spread inside him it seems having someone caring for you, waiting for you feels great Leonard thought a faint smile appear on his face. Lily face is cover with her bangs Leonard move his hand to remove those bangs from her face but before he could do anything suddenly he head a strong cough.

Embarrassed his face become red. Both James and Scott trying hard to control the laugh but they cherish their life and put on the stone face. Scott look at James with question in his eyes and James give him a look that he will tell later.

Leonard never feel this embarrassed he look like a kid who get caught stealing a cookie. He glare at both of them. Sweat running down their neck. It seems like they enter at wrong time.

Their boss looks like a tiger who have been provoke. All they could hope is pray for their life.
