Villain Eternal: I Shall Conquer The Heavens!

“Wretched abomination of darkness! For going against the will of heaven, the Hero Association shall chase your aberrant self until your death!” He scoffed. "Who is going to hunt me down? Your dead gods or your pathetic selves?" —— By stumbling upon the forbidden realms and his learning of secrets he wasn't meant to know, his mortality was robbed off him and he was cursed with what mortals would regard as “Eternal Life”. He could no longer age, or be killed by mortals. With his power, Mylos swore to tear down the heavens as he built up his Hell from the ashes of the angles. His heart burnes with a frenzied flames as he swore to wipe the walls of his castle with the blood of the enemies. “Divine Tribulations?” Conquered. “Heavenly Retribution?” Defied. —— “Worthless aberration of chaos! Your life must end here, and your blood would be used to wash the cornerstones of this mountain! Now, lie and accept your fate!" They were terrified, quaking in their boots in fear as he stared upon them. He was a monster, some abominable creature that crawled it's way out of the pit of hell. Undying, unrelenting — The god-like monster grinned in the face of their heaviest weapons. It's eyes gleamed at the sight of their heavily armed Heroes and Legends. He was what they believed to be “The Devil”.

Escape

The massive tail swept towards Mylos, and he turned to face it with a slash! His blade hacked at the tail without a second of pause, but not even a scratch was left on the tough looking metallic surface of the tail like structure.

Seeing that his sword attacks didn't work, he switched a heartbeat later into using one handed sword techniques, using his free right hand to palm at the tail. Before they could connect, something smashed into his back!

Mylos spat out a mouthful of blood as he was blown off balance, staggering forward only to get whacked in the face by the tail like structure. He was stunned for a very dangerous second, but before he could get attacked by the tail again — he formed a net of attacks around him.

Although his attacks were unable to harm the enemy, it prevented the tail from reaching him, allowing Mylos to notice what whammed into his back. It was a second of the receptionist's 'tail', just as massive as the first.

Fuck!

The two tails came together, then they both collapsed upon Mylos' defence at a crazed speed. Knowing that he'd be owned by the both of them upon impact, he dropped his net of blade attacks and jumped away.

Both tails smashed into the ground, and they cratered the earth, causing dust to cloud the surface. Before he could think of a plan, Mylos noticed the tails rise again and swing in his direction — his brows furrowing.

His regular blade attacks were proved fruitless against a duo of those weird tails. He believed he could shatter all of them if he used 'Chaos Mana', but when attempted a moment ago, she just increased the number of tails.

"I can slow down if you want? I'm not comfortable with bullying the weak. Besides, you're not an enemy of mine, you're just meddling in things you're not supposed to be involved in." The receptionist smiled slyly with her eyes locked on Mylos, they remained incredibly entrancing.

Mylos was also unwilling to fight something that he had gone to annoy with his curiousity. The fact the enemy's attacks didn't carry an once of killing intent made it very difficult for him to do the same.

"You're the second fool to overestimate your abilities. It is no surprise that the first is already dead." Mylos wore a taunting mask as he tightened his grip around the hilt of his sword, his gaze cold, "Did you do this to them?"

The tails rammed fiercely into his sword, and Mylos was sent skidding backwards with his brows knitted. Neither tail looked relatively weaker than the other, they moved at the same speed and carried equal force behind them.

"They threatened the peace of our hotel, of course we would not let them go. They all served as test subjects for an important experiment." The receptionist raised a clenched fist, then released it, "Try harder, be serious."

Serious? Mylos rolled his eyes.

"I don't want to kill without reason, I earn nothing from it but wasted energy. I'm on a time limit, so I don't have much time to waste with you." Mylos smiled as one of the tails retreated back to the receptionist.

Before she could respond, he grabbed the woman from the ground and dashed into the hotel without hesitation, not holding back his speed. Before she could attack him after the realisation, he'd put a good distance between the both of them.

"Wants to run? Heh..."

——

Mylos didn't even bother rushing up the stairs, he knew that he'd only seal his path of escape by moving higher up in the building. From what he calculated, blocking a elevator or the stairs wouldn't be too difficult for her.

All he needed to do was find what he needed here, then he could figure a way to sneak past her without fighting, maybe figure out these 'things' as well. Mylos lowered his gaze to the woman in his eyes, "Her body is warm."

Don't human bodies go cold after they'd died? What's up with this one? What kind of experiment did they use her for that turned her into something like this? Rushing into the halls besides the receptionist's desk, Mylos was met by a plethora of locked rooms on both sides.

He ran to the furthest from his position, lifted his leg to kick it down. Upon contact, the weak wooden doors to the room were quickly brought down to the ground. In the next second, Mylos barged in with the 'woman'.

He dropped her by the door, then stood up to survey all the areas of the room. He located the wardrobes beside the rough family sized bed, and without a second wasted in hesitation, he dashed towards them.

Mylos grabbed the knob of the first wardrobe, tugging at it and pulling the wardrobes wide open. He hoped to find something useful within, not wanting to spend any much time here with the strange tailed receptionist.

Empty? Mylos' pupils narrowed, and his heart skipped a beat — the woman had stepped into the building! From how she moved, she couldn't detect his demonic aura or trace his presence to this room.

Damnit! The second or third...

The second and third were just as deserted. It was upon pulling on the doors to the forth wardrobe that he found them to be locked tight. He could sense the receptionist closing in from the distance, and he had not much time.

Mylos raised his sword, and with a swift slash, the doors to the fourth wardrobe were cut open, collapsing to the ground seconds later. Mylos gazed into the wardrobe to find female clothing stacked neatly inside.

"Eureka!" Mylos grabbed the clothes, then ran back to the dead woman he'd left besides the door. He glanced around for a while, without seeing what he was searching for, he dumped the clothes on her and dashed off.

Mylos dashed into the opposite room, overturning all in the room as he searched for a bigger bag. He calculated the receptionist to find him in ten minutes at best, that's if she doesn't go upstairs to find him.

"Nothing..."

Mylos ran back out, then dashed into a second room in the blink of an eye. Without waiting for second, Mylos turned the room upside down. He overturned funiture, he lifted piles of clothes, he cut wardrobes.

After wasting eighty seconds in his third room, Mylos' gaze landed on a huge travelling bag placed at the top of a cupboard. With a frown on his face, he reached for the bag and upon confirmation, ran back outside.

He rushed to the woman, and retrieved all the clothing from her, stuffing them into the travelling bag. After he had done that, he zipped the bag shut and stood to his feet, curiously watching the dead human.

"It's eyes are open, it's body is warm, it's breathing. Was I wrong when I sensed it being dead? It's still giving off a dead aura, and It's quite provoking." Mylos frowned, his mind wandering back to the receptionist, "Strange..."

Mylos stepped forth, and reached his hand to the dead woman with a genuinely curious expression on his face, a gleam of light flashing in his eyes, "Can you stand up to your feet? I want to test something."

Unexpectedly, her distant eyes suddenly focused on his hands and she reached for them. Upon grabbing it, she allowed Mylos to help her up to stand on her feet. Her movements were quite robotic, and her eyes dull.

Before "she" could focus her gaze on Mylos, he raised a leg and kicked her in the side of her guts. She was blown to the side, not even reacting to his blow. Crashing into a wall with her back, she remained there silently.

Mylos withdrew his leg. A normal human would've died from that kick, but not only did she survive the blow, she was able to tank it as if nothing happened! It was quite a shock for Mylos, then his shock grew into curiousity.

"Great, I've found what I want and I still have more than thirty minutes left to burn. Maybe I should go check out the receptionist, and ask a few questions." Mylos walked to the now strange human woman, "What did they do?"
