Villain Eternal: I Shall Conquer The Heavens!

“Wretched abomination of darkness! For going against the will of heaven, the Hero Association shall chase your aberrant self until your death!” He scoffed. "Who is going to hunt me down? Your dead gods or your pathetic selves?" —— By stumbling upon the forbidden realms and his learning of secrets he wasn't meant to know, his mortality was robbed off him and he was cursed with what mortals would regard as “Eternal Life”. He could no longer age, or be killed by mortals. With his power, Mylos swore to tear down the heavens as he built up his Hell from the ashes of the angles. His heart burnes with a frenzied flames as he swore to wipe the walls of his castle with the blood of the enemies. “Divine Tribulations?” Conquered. “Heavenly Retribution?” Defied. —— “Worthless aberration of chaos! Your life must end here, and your blood would be used to wash the cornerstones of this mountain! Now, lie and accept your fate!" They were terrified, quaking in their boots in fear as he stared upon them. He was a monster, some abominable creature that crawled it's way out of the pit of hell. Undying, unrelenting — The god-like monster grinned in the face of their heaviest weapons. It's eyes gleamed at the sight of their heavily armed Heroes and Legends. He was what they believed to be “The Devil”.

Chosen Death

"Clang!"

Sparks flew as both swords clashed fiercely, fresh blood was spilled, and the two fighters locked themselves in a fanatic dance with their palms burning. Their eyes were radiating crazed lights as they struggled for dominance.

"Clang! Clang! Bang!"

Their blades ascended and descended fiercely, crashing down upon the earth without hesitation. Unable to keep the incredibly fast strokes of their blade in check, various scratches were left all over the enclosed room — parts of walls were chipped by their blades, and smaller furniture were destroyed completely.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

The building seemed as if it were going to collapse, the walls shook with every successfully connected blow from the two fighters. With the development of the battle, all the small chips grew into huge chunks.

Neither of them seemed prepared to back down, thier bodies were shrouded in wounds, drenched completely in their own blood. In time, their blood grew to form a pool beneath them, bits of their flesh mixed within.

"Slash! Slash!"

In two swift cuts from both sides, their arms got severed from their body! Before the blood could burst out from their open wound, new arms grew back out and the fight continued after only two seconds of pause.

"Clang! Clang!"

——

Mylos watched his sister brutally beat up the last of the assailants. After beating him to a pulp, and bashing his face into his skull, she smacked him away, not holding back even a fraction of her strength.

After she'd cast the body away, she turned to Mylos. As she turned to him, her brows knitted and her expression grew as warm as they could, but after a few seconds her warm expression grew as cold as ice,

"You killed? Was there one in the hotel? Hopefully, you killed the fool and didn't let your false benevolence get the better of you?" She raised her brows as she walked towards Mylos, "Our location has been compromised."

"Thanks for stating the obvious, genius." Mylos turned around to leave after showing himself to his sister, "We don't have much time. This area would be flooded with demons and hunters soon, and I'm hungry."

Mylos walked slowly so Aysla could follow him without running. Aysla had tried her best, but she wasn't able to prevent her clothes from being tainted with the blood of all those demons she'd killed earlier.

"We should get you changed into something a bit more 'regular'. Do you have any money?" Arthur asked with a brow raised, but he didn't turn around to lock eyes with his frowning sibling, "Heh, regular."

Aysla stared down at her clothes, then cringed seconds later, raising her head sharply. Her gaze wandered, then locked upon a deserted building in the distance. Picking up her pace, she moves towards the building.

"Huh?"

Mylos noticed this and turned around, only to see his sister taking a swift divert in the direction of a building some hundred metres away from their current position, his brows furrowed then relaxed after some seconds.

"I want you go get me some clothes, I will be waiting in that deserted building." Aysla halted her steps, pointing to the building as she spoke in a soft voice, "If you don't return in an hour, I'll take you for dead."

Mylos frowned. He couldn't afford stepping his feet on those lands without backup behind him, and he needed the protection for a while longer. After a while he rolled his eyes and turned around, "Do whatever you want."

He remembered the hotel, and expected some clothing to be stored them in one of the rooms. Since no one was in the hotel, it was an opportunity for him to grab some of the valuables for himself… Maybe find a bigger bag.

Aysla didn't say any more words after Mylos had turned to leave, all she did was to breath out calmly then rush in the direction of the building. If anything happened, she believed she would be able to reach him in time.

Mylos on the other hand walked casually with his hands dipped into his pockets. As soon as he reached the gate to the hotel, he pushed them open and walked in. With a cold gleam in his eyes, his gaze wandered round every nook and cranny of the hotel before him.

The thick smell of blood had subsided a bit, and he was entitled the time to carefully observe his environment. In a few seconds of pause, he'd scanned the entire hotel to ensure everything was as it should be.

Even after all his measures, he still drew out his sword in preparation for stealth attacks. As he walked forth, there was a change in expression as he grew a bit confused on some issues that bothered him strongly.

He stared at the bodies again, then without hesitation in his actions, he raised his leg and kicked one away. Just a single kick sent the body flying before coming to a wild tumbling crash in the parted gardens.

Looking at the garden from his current perspective, his eyes flashed. He hadn't noticed it before, but most cars were missing from where they were parked before. The cars destroyed outside did not match with those here.

"Come to think of it, not only the receptionist but some of the hotel staff are missing. If I remember correctly, in the hotel alone, they were a total of a dozen hired staff excluding the guards and cleaners."

Mylos frowned as he held his chin,

"Even if there was a fire, the speed at which they'd used in retreating was outstandingly suspicious. Not even one of the staff had been killed, but there were a lot of idiots and demons right outside the hotel."

He narrowed his eyes.

Unless the staff someone foresaw today's events a long time before his arrival, there was no way that only a few humans would have died to the large amount of demon fodder he counted here.

Mylos looked down upon one of the dead bodies, after a second of pause, he squatted. Reaching out his fingers to touch the dead body he felt something he hadn't felt earlier — something was very strange with the dead.

"Hello sir, the hotel has been shut down due to a certain disturbance in the area. Could you leave kindly, we have contacted the police already." A soft voice sounded just a second after Mylos squatted to touch the body.

The receptionist?

Mylos ignored, and touched the body anyways. To his surprise, the eyelids of the young woman shook and he drew back his hand. Just as he withdrew his fingers, the dead woman's eyes shot open.

"Sir, I'd like to warn you. The area is very dangerous for anyone to wander alone. There was a body found in the building, we're trying to curb the deaths." The feminine voice sounded again, this time a bit colder.

Mylos stares at the dead woman curiously. She was not breathing, but her eyes had opened on their own. From his perspective, they looked very lively for what he was sure had been killed. He stood to his feet, then frowns.

"If I touch the others, would their eyes open?"

Just as he was thinking out loud, his pupils shrunk and in a blink, his body flickered to the side. Just after flickering to the side, a massive tail like structure collapsed on the ground besides him — causing dust to rise into the air.

"I see. I never believed that this would have been what might have transpired. Although she smelled human, it was quite strange how powerful her presence revolted my demonic soul." Mylos turned around, a grin on his face as his aura began rising at a crazed pace.

"Demon? No wonder. Most humans would have ran off just at the sight of the bodies alone." Her eyes remained as cold as steel, unsurprised by Mylos' show of aura. She clenched her fists, the tail like structure that reached out from behind her lifting up from the ground.

"So... you have chosen death, mortal?" Mylos raised his sword, taking a stance with his eyes burning in a wicked light, "I will grant you your wish, maybe even learn new tricks in the process."
