Magic Contract

When Frost finished inspecting all the prisoners from the battle, like Lance suggested he started writing the Magic Contract as soon as he returned to his office.

"How to write the contract?"

Due to having lost a hundred years of memories, Frost also forgot how to write the contract.

Sitting in his office, he found himself unable to think of anything related to the Magic Contract.

After all, this wasn't a spell that would appear in his mind anytime he needed without even thinking deeply.

Hearing the words of Frost made Lance confused. His Master was an 8th Circle Mage, so why would he not know how to write the contract.

But then Lance recalled his Father's recent words – Master Frost Larsh seemed to have lost 100 years of memories.

Sighing, Lance took a book from the shelf near the door. After that, he handed the book to Frost.

"Master, here's the book that will guide you on how to write Magic Contracts."

Frost raised an eyebrow at the title, 'Ten ways to become a villain,' and hesitated. Was Lance trying to turn him back into a villain?

"Master, on the 5th way to become a villain, the exact detail on how to make the Magic Contract is there. Just read it."

Even though Frost was a bit skeptical about reading the book, he still took it from the hands of Lance and started reading it.

As Lance said, what he needed to read was the 5th way. Rather than reading the book all from the start, he would find what page it would be from the 'Table of Contents' and skip unnecessary pages.

Soon, he found himself exactly at the page he needed. The 5th way of becoming a villain.

[Aiming to become a villain was not easy to how it may seem. Those who cause chaos and destroy buildings can't be called villains. They just want attention from everyone, at most they could be called Attention Seekers.

This 5th way of becoming a villain is a very crucial piece in order to be truly called a villain. To have subordinates.

Not those subordinates that one can hire from anywhere, but a subordinate that will listen to every order from their Master without thinking twice or even hesitating a second.

The best way to gain those kinds of subordinates is through the Magic contract.

As a Villain, it is best to command in the dark and only appear during the climax. Surprise the opponent with the power that a villain should possess. Let them know the true strength of a villain.]

Looking closely at the Magic Contract picture beside the text, for some reason Frost could see his name being used as the Master in the contract.

Did he know who the author was?

"Lance, why is my name here?" Frost ask while showing the part he was referring to.

"Master... That's because you were the one who wrote this book 20 years ago."

As soon as Frost heard the words from Lance, it seemed as though world stopped spinning for Frost.

Was he really that Mad to the point of writing a book about becoming a villain?

Nevertheless, he didn't forgot what he was doing.

As he read the page till the end, he was now down to the process of making one.

[To make a magic contract, the following things are needed.

-Paper (The better the quality, the more powerful the link between the Master and the Slave);

-Celestial Essence Ink.]

"Lance, get me this ink." As Frost read the essential materials he needed, he ordered Lance to get the ink. For the paper, it was already on a drawer in his table so he didn't need to ask Lance to take it.

Following Frost's instructions, Lance fetched a vial containing a rare and precious ink from a box on a shelf beside the office table of Frost. Known as "Celestial Essence Ink," it was rumored to possess binding properties that would make the contracts even more formidable.

With a steady hand, Frost dipped his quill into the ink and carefully traced a series of intricate patterns on each contract. The ink shimmered and gleamed, imbuing the contracts with an aura of undeniable authority.

After writing 10 Magic Contract, the only thing that Frost needed was to add a Magic Spell in the contract. This time he didn't need to have the book guide him, he already know what Magic Spell he will use.

Pointing towards the Magic Contracts, there seemed to be a familiar sensation of magic coursing through his fingertips, it made Frost wonder how many times he used this Spell for his body to remember it?

As Frost completed the final incantation, a subtle surge of power resonated within the room. The contracts now pulsated with an ethereal energy, ready to be sealed and put into action.

"There," Frost declared, his voice resonating with a sense of accomplishment. "The Magic Contracts are now ready to be used."

When Frost finished with the Magic Contracts, Lance took the stack of paper ready to get out of the office.

"Master, rest here. I will give this Magic Contracts to my sister so it could be used towards the top 10 strongest prisoner we currently have."

"Okay, go."

Although the Magic Spell for the Magic Contract didn't require much mana from him, writing 10 contracts took a toll in his mental capacity.

Frost could feel as though his head was being hammered down.

In order to alleviate the pain, he decided to take a nap in his table.

Closing his eyes, he slowly fell into the dream world. However, not long after a minute, Frost opened his eyes. The light penetrating by his closed eyes disturbed him, waking him up from his small nap.

But as he looked around, he found himself to a place that wasn't his office. The place he once considered a prison. Though, different to last time, he was surrounded by people looking at him strangely amidst the debris and rubbles of the ruined apartment.

"This dream again?"
