Cooler Saga 8

Cooler saw everything without moving from his place. He saw the Saiyan murder his henchman, he saw the Saiyan saving and even flirting with the girl in front of him. But what he didn't saw, was the Saiyan moving past him and reaching that place.

He was fast, he could have killed Cooler at that moment without any problem. He understood it. This was the first time in his life that he lost a bit of confidence. He was strong. Strong enough to rule the universe. Yet, right at that moment, he was seeing a monster in front of him.

"Make your move fast, Cooler. You helped me grow stronger, so out of respect, this prince will allow you to use whatever trump card you have." Vegeta was confident. That was him, absolute confidence that he would be the strongest in the end. He crossed his arms and waited for his opponent.

"...Hmph, arrogance is the downfall of the mighty. Let me show you then. The form that no one ever saw!" With this Cooler's power skyrocketed. He was powering up so much that even the ground was suffering from the massive amount of energy that he was generating.

"HhaaahAAA!!" His body started to grow in height, his muscles bulking. His head was changing too. Instead of an appearance like Frieza's, his was gaining a more pointed form. Four spikes extend from his cranium and there is a large dark-blue section in the middle of his head. His arms carapaces were gaining a blade-like protrusion.

It was a new form, not even Frieza had one like that. His power level spiked too. If before his power was 120million at 100%, now it's 6x more. Vegeta thought that the Cooler right now was pretty strong. If it wasn't for the fact that he knew how to get stronger faster, and had a cheat-like ability to exploit, he thinks that the guy would fold both him and Kakarrot without much problem if they were to fight.

Though he thinks that, for some reason, this cooler is far stronger than the counterpart from his memories.

'I may be wrong, but I have this feeling that some things are changing...And, well, i'm the one causing some of those changes too. I need to prepare better for this...'

Finishing his transformation, Cooler stood there exuding confidence. This will be the first time he will test this in a true battle. He was excited. So much that he didn't even need to wait and made his move.

Vegeta dodged and blocked a series of moves while taking the fight to the sky, a bit far from the forest. There they start to exchange blows. Cooler could clearly see that he was still lagging behind Vegeta's form. Still, their punches and kicks bump into each other, creating tremendous shockwaves around the area.

*Boom*

*Boom*

*Booom*

Vegeta elbows his face with great force, without letting him breath, he spins and kicks sending Cooler flying. Vegeta powered up and follows his trajectory, kicking him into the sky again. Following again, he back-flipped and sent a kick at his back, sending him to the ground.

Trees were being destroyed by their exchange, the area was being re-designed by them.

Even with this beating, Cooler recovers and comes again.

'His race's regenerative abilities were something else', Vegeta thought.

"Haa! HAA! HaA! S-Shit why?!" Cooler was screaming while trying his best to reach Vegeta with his blows. "WHY! Saiya-Ughhh!!" He received another blow at his gut, making him cough blood.

He put his hand on his belly and stepped back, still coughing blood through his open mask. "Y-You...This can't be..Y-you of all people!!!" He wasn't going to accept the situation. His race was supposed to be the strongest, the emperors. Now, he is almost kneeling to a monkey race that should have been extinct years ago.

"Why? What a boring question..." Vegeta looks at Cooler with cold eyes and a cold and arrogant smile on his face. "It's because my Saiyan race is better than yours. It's that simple."

Cooler veins were almost popping out of his head. He couldn't accept it, so he made the choice, and lifted his arms. "Then you may go extinct with all of this planet, Saiyan!!!!"

A ball of energy condensed in his finger. His last resort, yet Vegeta could see that there wasn't enough energy on it to destroy the planet.

'So he was bluffing. Of course, it would be hard for him to destroy the source that would supply his future plans.' Vegeta thought Cooler was a bit too smart to do something foolish like this.

"Unfortunately, you are not Frieza. If it was him, he would have taken the planet with him if it meant killing his enemy. Almost a shame that you have a head on your shoulder". Vegeta watched the energy being formed. It may not destroy the planet, but this entire area will cease to exist.

So he powered up with everything he had, put his 2 hands together and turned around his body. This was one of the few techniques that was passed through his royal bloodline. A tremendous amount of light-purple energy started to form in his hand.

When the energy from Cooler was charged, he madly screamed.

"Supernovaaaa!!!!" And threw it at Vegeta.

The latter gathered his energy. Smiling, he shouted "Galick Guunnn!!!!!!"

*BOOooomm*

Both energies collide, creating pressure in the air. Tights was far away from the conflit, yet she could see the flash of light and the pressure was coming at her.

The energy starts to fight to see who will best who. Cooler was having trouble pushing it. He was doing his best and adding more and more power to it. But he knew that the more power he added, the greater was the chance of making this planet vanish, so he hesitated.

And for a split second, that hesitation made his Supernova be pushed against him. He struggled, yet his super attack was broken and he was hit directly by the Galick energy.

He still tries to stopp it with his hand, but it was too much for him.

"GGHhhhhhhhaaa!!D-don't fuck with..I'l not!!Not to you!!!!Ghhh!!!!!!"

Vegeta smiled and added more power to it.

Cooler was still pushed and the energy hit him directly. His screams were muffled by the wave of energy and soon enough there were no more Cooler.

The energy still traveled out of the planet, only to die in space. Vegeta lowered his hand and a smile was pestering on his face.

Vanquished was the Frost demon family. By only one person.

"It was a good trip indeed". He had a proud smile on his face.

Vegeta lowered himself from the sky and went directly to where Tights was. He's not gonna lie, although he said that the woman was by herself if she came, he was still a bit worried about her. She wasn't supposed to be here really.

Though when he reached the place, he was granted by the sight that made even him a bit speechless. There was a woman panting hard while writing something in her journal. As if a moment ago there wasn't an alien trying to blow up the place.

Before he could announce himself, the girl got up and with an abnormal speed she threw herself at him.

"That was cool! The coolest! The most coolest thing a protagonist would do!" She was panting hard and speaking a lot of weird things. It seems that she really sees him as a good sample to write a book.

"How do you know it when you didn't even saw what happened..." Vegeta had an incredulous face while looking at the woman jumping.

And this obsession with ''Cool' character. Maybe it was from her that Bulma took that obsession with a cool boyfriend too...Who knows…

"And you still blond. How do you do that? Also, he was pretty strong, right? i couldn't see a thing of what was happening, but it was dangerous. Are you hurt too? I can give some first aid too." She was like a gatgling gun. Sometimes she was this cool and chill woman, sometimes she was bit tease, and now she is this excited.

Vegeta thought that this family was a really weird one. "I'm not, and stop sniffing me, I'm covered with blood."

She was hugging him and took the opportunity to sniff him, thinking that he wouldn't notice.

Saying this, Vegeta ends his transformation. Tights was amazed by it.

"So you can really just turn blond. All of you Saiyan's can do it?" She asked, curious.

"Only the strong one's. Though, probably everyone has a way to achieve that if they train hard enough" He was answering her. And while doing this without warning, he took her by the waist and started flying.

The action surprised Tights and she let out a "Kyaaah" before hugging him. He was going at the Cooler's ship direction. There should be some useful things there.

"Warn me before.." Tights with a voice a bit small.

'Does she get flustered by it?' Vegeta thought.

"Should I?''

"...No..Keep like this." She smiled and tightened her grip around his neck.

Reaching Cooler's ship, they just blast around everything since there are some of his forces there yet. Dealing with it, they could finally search around his ship. It was a simple task. Well it wasn't, but since Tights was there she made it seem simple.

She wasn't as smart as Bulma, but she was several levels above normal people. She was able to get some information about other planets, about Cooler's project and even where he would attack again after dealing with this planet and Earth.

He had a lot of money too, though it was alien money, basically useless. But Tights was able to convert most of them into rare materials by buying it, he would need to either go get them later or let them be stored there to get it in another occasion.

Vegeta thought about taking the woman on more trips with him. She was really useful.

"Ok and doing this, you are now the owner of all his wealth. And the Sky Gold from here too. Though you will have to carry most boxes back to your ship" She said after finishing the last transaction.

"Hm? What about you? You can take whatever you want". Vegeta was allowing her to take any spoil for her effort. He thinks she deserves it since she helped. And it's not like everything here is useful to him.

"Hmm~~I don't really want money...Ah but if there's a reward then I do want something." She smiles and turned around to look at him. "But I'll ask for it at the right time"

"...I see" He stopped paying attention to it and moved to see what he got.

There were a lot of gear here, some advanced scouters too. Maybe he can take these to Bulma and she can upgrade them to have a better energy reading.

There were some Healing pods too. If he didn't have his ability, it would be useful to him. Of course, he will take them too. It may help the others if they happen to not have senzu beans with them every time.

There were a lot more items and materials here, he will be taking everything with him.

He was able to find some plans about what Cooler was trying to do here. And like he imagined, it was about that big planet thing.

Unfortunately, he was unable to find where the thing was right now or even if Cooler's plan worked. If the thing gives him a problem in the future, he will do his best to deal with it. He should be stronger by that time.

He was done there after a few hours of looting. After taking everything that he could, Tights took Cooler's ship and drove them to where their spaceship was hiding. Vegeta was trying to understand how she was able to do that with so little effort.

"It's like riding my bike...probably..I'm not that confident, but since it's close it should be fine" She had an easy smile when saying it. Vegeta again thought that this family was weird.
