"What just hit me, was it a truck, no it was way too fast or was it a bullet, what was it" Max's body went through many trees before it came to a stop.

"I can't think straight and it seemed like I was hit in the head, I think I lost control of my body I can not move"

Then a force so strong suddenly hit Max in the stomach, that it felt like Max couldn't breathe.

Then sudden kick in the stomach again sending Max 500 feet in the air, his body didn't even react to the pain at all it felt like his brain wasn't responding quickly.

Slowly but surely Max started to collect this thought and the injuries around his head started to heal.

A few seconds later his head injuries healed and he finally could think straight and was back to normal.

"Damm it how could let my guard down, I was foolish more importantly how am I going to get out of this situation" he was 300 feet in the air now and if doesn't do anything he would have died.

His body was surrounded by lightning and his eyes started to glow more and his hair was spiky now.

"Here we go" Max embraced himself for the impact.

Then boom Max's body hit the ground, the dust started to clear Max stood up and started to look for the Creature who almost took his life.

But after a few seconds of looking for this monster and was nowhere to be seen Max was about to give up but then a very fast shadow came out of a bush.

Max sensed it Max jumped back and tried to kick it but it was no use "damn it this bastard is so agile".

Then the monster kicked Max in the face, Max was pushed back a few meters and blood started to drip from his mouth.

"Damm it even while using empowerment I can't seem to hit it and it's fast, I need speed"

Max activates his skill lightning dash, and his body begins to vibrate, and his eyes start to glow white.

Now his speed is 10% faster than normal "Now I see you, you son of bit###" The monster standing in front of Max was a monkey holding a Staff.

This monkey was called Dark Shadow Monkeys they have the power to control the shadows around and on rare occasions, they carry weapons that are only for the powerful ones.

Max and the monkey just stood there looking at each other without anyone taking their eyes off one of the other.

Max was nervous because he could feel how powerful his creature was even while two skills were empowering him and he was starting to sweat.

The moment Max's sweat hit the ground they both ran toward each other clashing head to head.

The monkey swings his staff hitting max side then kicks him in the face, with his state increased 2 times(10%) Max didn't feel a thing.

Max grabs the monkey's feet punches the monkey in the stomach and then punches its face.

Before that monkey could comprehend what was going on Max spin-kicked sending him flying, suddenly Max threw up blood his vision was getting blurry.

But before the Monkey could do any damage he was stopped he couldn't move or breathe because the aura the monkey was feeling was monstrous.

A woman suddenly appears out of nowhere, the monkey is engulfed in fear to the point he takes his own life and drops dead.

Aisha picked her brother up and then disappeared.
