They were awakening!
They immediately sat cross-legged in a meditative posture and immediately entered their spiritual spaces as their father's diary had taught them. It wasn't that hard after all.
- On Zoro's end -
In his spiritual space, he could see that everywhere was white and he couldn't see where it ended. There was a black translucent sphere the size of his head slowly rotating and per the rules of his father's book, Zoro calmed his mind and willed for elemental essence around himself to enter the orb. He became extremely happy when he saw blue, green and grey specks of light moving towards his elemental core! This clearly showed that he had awakened the water, wind and space elements!
The moment the first speck of dust entered his elemental core, he felt a sharp pain in his lower abdomen. He was officially an elementalist now! Normal elementalists would be squealing on the ground, some may even pass out due to the pain but he was just too pain resistant, thanks to his hardships in the forests and nightmares.
Right after the first speck of light entered his elemental core, a large rectangular silver-toned plaque with intricate designs on the sides appeared before him in his spiritual space. In Golden inscriptions, these words were written:

As if his status could read his thoughts, it immediately displayed information regarding his omni-elemental synchronicity ability

Omni-elemental synchronicity:
An ability which allows an elementalist to be able to control any element existing in nature to a certain extent.

'What the hell!? That ability is too overpowered!' Zoro said in his mind.
-On Jiro's end-
With a happy expression on his usually nonchalant face, Giro tried to calm himself down as in a vast plain of blackness,, he could see small silver-toned, red, black and brown specks of light moving slowly toward his elemental core! Four elements?! What the fish!
As these specks of light neared his spinning elemental core, he tensed up and braced himself for the pain about to come. Alas! It entered and the pain wasn't that bad, although it still hurt since it was the first time. [Please try not to think dirty about the last sentence before this one.]
Once the first speck of dust entered his elemental core, he felt a rush of emotions flooding his being.
He could finally begin his quest to avenge his father!
He could finally become powerful!
He could finally destroy all those bothersome magical beasts!
He could finally begin his demon massacre! Immediately, his status appeared before him and showed the following:

Giro's thoughts were cut off by his status seemingly reading his mind and providing answers to his questions. 'Wow. That's so cool, but what are Tenebris Eyes?'

4th Dimensional manipulation:
An ability that allows the user to manipulate the fourth dimension at will. Take it as an advanced form of the space element.
Tenebris Eyes:
It also allows the user to cast illusions on a specific chakra target, see in the dark very well and do lots of other things the user will find out as he continues to use it.

Alright, now let me explain the info on the status 😉.
Name: Well, it's the name! What else?!
Race: Not divisions under the human race, no. We have the Magical beast, Elven, Dwarf, Gnome, Human, etc. races on this planet. This planet is actually five times larger than earth. It's called... Earth. The reason it got five times larger will be explained later in the story.
Age: -1, 4, infinity, etc.
Gender: Rather not say, she-male, he-female, etc.
Rank: In ascending order, E, EE, EEE, D, DD, DDD, C, CC, CCC, CCTV, ...A, AA, AAA, S, SS, SSS.
Dummy! Of course CCTV ain't part!
Stage: Divisions under ranks. 1 - 9. Early stages: 1-3. Middle: 4-6. Late:7-9. Peak: 9
Elemental essence points: It represents 1/1000th the number of elemental essence specks in an elementalist, meaning, 1 point = 1000 elemental essence specks.
Experience points: Specially earned when special achievements are made by the elementalist. Helps in leveling up.
Chakra points: Denotes how much chakra is in a elementalist.

Jiro seemed satisfied with the information he received and quickly dismissed the status to focus on meditation. He realized that his senses had heightened and his body felt a bit lighter that before. Zoro also did as Jiro did and was finding some changes in his body too.
The twins meditated while drawing elemental essence into them. After the pain came at first, it quickly went away under the nourishment of the elemental essence. From their father's book, they found out that their stage would increase if they fill their elemental core to the brim and it expands naturally in their spiritual space for another filling, awaiting to be filled to reach the next stage. They had to fill it nine times to get to the next rank, the EE rank. Unbeknownst to them, two hours had passed already, but they thought it was just thirty minutes!
