Meeting Raven

Now that invading the grandmaster's lair was out of the question . They had to figure out their next plan of action.

For the next few days, all of them worked seperately with each one having his own responsibility.

Sif mainly focused on collecting information . In their current situation they needed detailed information regarding their enemy.

Lucy was in charge of finding a place of permanent residence for them. Until now they were always living in a tavern.

But since they had no way of rescuing Jack immediately it was clear that they needed a permanent residence for their future actions.

Meanwhile Alex was responsible for selling the high tech weapons they had confiscated from the mercenaries.

Although Alex and the others could also use it. But right now they were in urgent need of money.

Even buying a residence was also put on hold because of the lack of money. Lucy had already found a residence in a relatively remote location.

Which was pretty conductive for their plans.

After some time of looking around and following the directions, Alex finally found a tavern called the Emrald Tavern. Although it was a bit run down but sill bustling with the crowd.

Many aliens of different shapes and sizes were drinking inside.

After arriving at the counter, a three headed blue skinned bar tender came to him.

"What would you like? "

"I need some birds. "

Alex responded while still looking down.

Hearing this code, all the three heads blinked their eyes at the same time and after squinting for a few seconds, he finally broke the silence.

"You go to the table no. 7 and the order will be delivered there. "

After saying that he turned around and went inside to inform the agent.

After Alex went to sit at the table and waited for some time, a masked cat eared girl arrived shortly after.

She coolly sat down opposite him.

"So..... You are the one selling weapons huh? "

After Alex looked up, he found a cat eared girl dressed in black coloured skin tights and carrying 2 laser guns around her waist along with a stylish looking dagger. Right now she was staring at him with a

deadpan gaze.

Alex also noticed a black furry tail sticking out behind her. She looked like the perfect image of assassin in many video games. But since her face was covered with a mask he couldn't see her face.

Alex examined her from top to bottom in a split second. He didn't expect there to even be cat eared girls to appear in Marvel Universe.

But who is he to speak on these matters. May be there does exist such species in some unknown corner of the world. After all the Sarkar is connected to many unexpected places in the whole Marvel world.

"Yes, I am the one. "

"So tell me the inventory of the weapons you are going to sell and i will give you the price. "

Raven's P. O. V.

Her whole life has been one hell of a tragedy.

She was originally born into a witch family on a distant planet where witches were the ruling race.

(My creation, a slight AU setting. So don't complain.)

Her mother was a famous and powerful great witch. After accomplishing many great achievements in magic and research field, she had a very good reputation.

But it all changed suddenly.

A deadly virus broke out on the planet. Many witches fell victim to it and breathed their last.The death rate was too high.

And the most mysterious thing about it was that it only affected the Witches, leaving the normal people untouched.

This point attracted my mother's attention. Thus she covertly investigated about this issue and had surprising discoveries.

She found that a group of people calling themselves , 'Rebels' had staged this huge conspiracy.

They used the Night Cat's blood to create a very deadly poison which only affected those having magic power in their body.

(Night cats were a kind of beast of prey on their home planet which had strong dark magic skills. )

Afterwards they mixed it in the water source of their planet.

After finding out about it, my mother stole a few poison samples from the Rebels and started preparing for it.

After only just 2 months, my genius mother indeed formed an antidote. After that she told everyone about her discovery and gave the antidote to the Witch Society, who decided to punish the Rebels.

With the help of the antidote, although every managed to get rid of the poison but they got the cat ears and tails as side effects.

Subsequently a long war occurred between the rebels and the witches. The rebels being weaker were doomed to loose from the start .

As a result, they had developed a teleportation device as a back up to escape from here.

But the reason they were hesitant to use it that it was not very stable and had no set location as destination.

But when forced to a dead end, they had no choice and used the device.

It was the start of a nightmare and the unstable portal turned into space storm. Almost the whole planet was destroyed except Raven.

At the critical moment her mother used all her powers and opened a small space hole in the already unstable space of their planet. She sent the little Raven , who hadn't even learned magic yet, away as her last hope.

She did succeed in a way.

And that's how Raven ended in this shit place called SAKAAR. But thanks to her superior physique and natural dark magic affinity she survived alone as a child and grew up to be powerful assasin today .
