Chapter 29

Kiara immediately walked away from the room, leaving them two.

Calista sharpened her gaze, sending a warning when she found Leonard calling Sarah to clear the schedule for the next few hours.

Even though Leonard's actions were out of bounds, she tried not to protest because it would be useless. Leonard would never listen to her.

"You're being obedient. You don't protest like usual. Where did the tigress go?" Said Leonard softly, teasing Calista.

"What are you calling me?" Calista snapped.

"I'm not talking to you. You must have heard wrong."

'She really looks like a tigress. Her claws are poisonous, deadly, but I like them.' Leonard thought.

"Shouldn't we talk? Sit down!" Without heeding Calista's request, Leonard walked closer, looked up Calista's face and then showered her forehead with affectionate kisses.

"What are you doing?" Callista protested.

"Kissing your forehead."

"We're in the office. Watch your attitude!"

"I know."

"Then go back to your room!"

"Nah!"

"Leo." Calista was furious.

"I've tried, but still, I can't stop myself. I miss you so much."

Leonard then raised Calista's face, brushing her luscious lips gently. Calista seemed to be lulled until, unconsciously, she wrapped one hand around Leonard's neck.

At first, he just wanted to kiss her briefly, but who would have thought that the longer the kiss became hotter and also… wild.

"You missed me too, hum?" He asked in between kisses. And when he was about to put his lips back together, Calista stopped him.

"It's in the office, honey."

"Kiss me, please," Leonard's gaze sulked.

"Leo!"

"One more, please, baby."

Because Calista wanted Leonard to end this madness, she finally grabbed the nape of his neck and kissed him deeply and long.

"You naughty!" Said Leonard while ruffling Calista's hair roughly. After that, he sat down on the sofa, followed by Calista.

"Honey, you still lock the door?"

Leonard nodded.

"Naughty boy!" Calista cursed.

When Calista was about to open the door, Leonard stopped her with his firm hand. No doubt, her grey eyes silhouette then showered him with sharp gazes as sharp as swords.

"Just keep it locked, baby, so no one will see when we… kiss,"

"You!"

"Let's not argue about unimportant things."

While glancing at the clock on his wrist, Leonard invited Calista to start a meeting before lunch, which was only 2 hours away.

They both look earnest in this meeting. For the time being, this matter was only for them before finding strong evidence that could drag the person into prison.

Time flew like an arrow. Leonard immediately led Calista to the elevator. He wrapped his one hand around her slender waist.

"Let me go, Leo! What if someone sees it?" Calista protested.

"Don't worry, no one will see. Don't go far, baby, come here!"

When the elevator door opened, Matius and Kiara caught them off. Calista was ashamed because their gazes sent her goosebumps.

Leonard immediately took control of the situation, realising his woman was uncomfortable,

"Where have you been?" Kiara asked

"We both finished meeting outside," Leonard answered.

"Where are you and Calista going?" Kiara asked again.

"Have lunch."

"We haven't had lunch either, right Matius?" Kiara's gaze was full of meaning as if she wanted Matius to accept her invitation even though the two of them had lunch.

"She's right. We both haven't had lunch yet, so how about we hitch a ride in your car? It's quite fuel-efficient."

"Damn you cheap!" Leonard cursed while walking first, leaving Calista behind him.

Meanwhile, Kiara paralleled Calista's steps, then lightly touched her shoulder so that Calista immediately turned her face as if asking, 'what's wrong?'

"You're not in a relationship, are you?" Kiara whispered.

"Of course not, Kia.

"You lie!"

"Nope, Kia, we're just a co-worker."

"You can fool others, but the scene in front of my eyes is enough to explain that you two have a special relationship. Don't be an unloyal woman, Calista!"

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you already have a boyfriend?"

"If you don't know anything, it's better not to say that!"

Meanwhile, Leonard, already in the car, immediately called the two. He was upset because his woman was still busy chatting with Kiara.

"Oh yeah, where are we going for lunch?" Kiara asked.

"At a restaurant near  here." Leonard's curt tone tickled the ears.

Could Leonard be angry? Yes, he was mad because his fun with his beloved woman was disturbed.

"Do you mind because we're both hitch..."

"Never mind, Calis, don't be too complicated being a girl! No need to worry about unimportant things.

"Hey, I'm Kiara, not Calista!"

'Oh shit, how could I slip up saying Calista's name?' Leonard cursed in his mind.

"See, Leo just said my name wrong. You two surely have a special relationship, right?" Kiara whispered.

"Listen, Kia! Saying the wrong name doesn't mean the two of us have a special relationship! It's not just me who has the name Calista. So watch your talk!" Calista snapped.

"If you're not in a relationship, you shouldn't need to be angry, Calista."

"It's up to you, Kia. It's nonsense talking to you! You're weird!"

'But, what Kiara said was true. You do have a special relationship with Leonard. So why should you be angry? If you act like this, it will only make Kiara even more suspicious.' Calista whispered in her heart, warning herself.

The car that took them away arrived at the restaurant. Kiara and Matius went down first, followed by Calista. However, Leonard immediately stopped her.

"Please don't make Matius and Kiara suspicious."

"No one will suspect. They both have entered the restaurant," said Leonard while looking for an empty parking area.

Before getting out of the car, he gave a brief kiss on Calista's soft lips.

Honestly, touching her soft lips always made him unable to stand it. He had to be heartened to give up his desire when He was about to stick his tongue in. He got a hard urge in his chest.

"Not now, honey."

"Why, baby?"

"Please, don't make them suspicious..." A soft kiss broke Calista's words.

Leonard exhaled, accompanying the roar of Calista's breath. Honestly, he wanted more, and he tried to stick his tongue in. But, the current situation wasn't favourable.

"C-mon." Said Leonard, moving the tail of his eye as a signal for Calista to rush out of the car.
