Aizawa's POV

The funeral service was over a month ago but none of my students have smiled since the incident. Bakugo and Midoriya were gone. I kept on going, not even caring how tired I was. Everytime I close my eyes I see their faces. Whenever I announced free period or study hall I watched as each of my students pulled out their phones and hit play again.

They watched the video countless times. We all did. I would even let them put it up on the big screen, but only if they all got 100% on all of their assignments. Every one of my students became a silent academic seemingly overnight. Everyday the big screen was set up and the video played again before they left for the day.

They were never lazy either, taking everything the boys stated in their video to heart. They worked harder than I have ever seen anyone before. Well that's not quite true. No one could ever work harder than Katsuki Bakugo or Izuku Midoriya.

The video was being set up now. I was done with my lecture and I took a seat at my desk. When was the last time I slept? I looked at my sleeping bag, tempted, for only a second until I heard their voices yet again, no sleep today.

I watched with my students as the two boys went through their reasons again. I watched as Bakugo wept for a future he couldn't have. As Midoriya lost himself to his rage only to fall apart again.

No one said anything as we cried together. What kind of villain could have had such a hold on them like this? Nezu had a press conference contradicting the news reports stating it was a suicide and the boy's names were cleared of the ugly accusation. They died fighting with every breath they took. Their video's proved that much didn't it?

But who was the villain? Or should I say villainess? They referred to the villain as she a few times in the video. I looked into every man or woman in their past and the horror that awaited me at finding out their past, it was so much.

Bakugo bullied Midoriya, I mean on some level I assumed as much. But the extent I found was intolerable. There was footage upon footage of the two where Bakugo was cornering Midoriya and beating him. It took weeks before the 'other' footage was finally discovered.

The footage shows Bakugo and Midoriya looking over their shoulders as they tried to comfort each other. If we would have launched an investigation we would never have looked that closely. Not without the original video as proof...

I also looked into those so-called 'friends' of Bakugo's. Many were reported missing after the boys started their first year of UA. Those that weren't missing were either dead or nearly dead laying in a hospital unable to answer any questions at all.

These things only made me believe the boys more and with every little thing I found the more obsessed I was. No one outside of the class saw the videos, not even their parents. Mrs. Midoriya was impossible to soothe as she screamed, her cries claiming that All Might and I failed her baby.

Mrs. and Mr. Bakugo was another story altogether. Mr. Bakugo just sighed asking what his son did this time and that he would pay for the damages. He didn't even wait to hear why he was called to the school. Mrs. Bakugo was screaming profanities claiming she would knock some sense into her son.

That all changed the moment I was finally able to tell them why they were called. They both froze and stared at me, unbelieving. It wasn't until the press release that they finally snapped out of it and they claimed they were going to sue the school for damages. Really that is your answer to being told your son died?

I ended up leaving the Bakugo's to Nezu and returned to Mrs. Midoriya who was still with All Might. They were both crying so much it was hard to tell that they didn't know each other before just a couple years ago. I would rather hear tears and screams of blame than the money hungry Bakugo's. They didn't have a leg to stand on in court of course. They both signed a waiver when their son enrolled in the school.

Mrs. Midoriya cried forever though. I couldn't let her go home all alone either, so she ended up staying at the school in young Midoriya's dorm room.

We found the letter that way. It was addressed simply to Mom and she let me stay while she read it. When she was done she passed it to me and I read it as well;

'Mom,

I'm so sorry, I couldn't tell you about the villain that has haunted me, that has haunted us. I tried so hard to protect you from her, most of the time it seemed like I was failing. I can't tell you who it is but know that you know her. Please if nothing else do not talk to ANY of your current lady friends. They are all bad news. They all work with her.

It's not your fault. I promise. I love you. Whatever you do, wait for me. Give me at least 5 years in the ground before you join me. I know it's a selfish request but something tells me that you wouldn't wait unless I asked.

So this is my final request. I love you Mom.

Love Izuku Midoriya.'

I questioned her and found out who all of her 'Lady friends' were and found out that Mrs. Bakugo was her best friend, the others she only associates with because Mrs. Bakugo did. Dear Lord above if I find out that Mrs. Bakugo is their villain I just might murder her myself. That will have to be a wild fantasy though no amount of investigations were turning anything up. She was innocent, squeaky clean.

After reading the letter Mrs. Midoriya was much easier to talk to. She never accused me or any other hero of failing her or her son again. She blames herself, I can see it in her eyes. But she doesn't say it. If nothing else she will follow through with her son's last wish. But I have a feeling that she will not live a day after 5 years.

She comes to class most days of the week to see how her boys spent their final days. She was never asked to leave. She knew about the video but never once asked to see it. She knew she couldn't. She would always leave when she saw my students setting up the TV. We never asked her to. If she had wanted to stay none of us would have asked her to leave. She was quickly becoming a part of the class.

***

It's been two months now. Mr. and Mrs. Bakugo have issued a formal apology to the school and even made a sizable donation to the school. The money was left untouched. Nezu said it was hush money, nothing more, and refused to even acknowledge it.

Mrs. Midoriya still came to class every day. Today was different though.

"Mrs. Midoriya?" I asked her when I saw her making her way to the door, my students still played the video every single day, even now.

"Yes Aizawa?" She replied calmly, the fact that she looked so at peace while in my classroom was soothing, but she was not like this the moment she stepped outside my door.

I took a deep breath not sure how this was going to end. "Principle Nezu has granted permission for you to view the video with us. Only if you want to." My voice was low. I had started sleeping again but only just. I would literally work until I passed out and when I woke up I would find All Might or Midnight teaching my class while I was somehow put back into my sleeping bag. I had argued once and Midnight actually used her quirk to knock me out for over a week. I wish I knew she could do that before all this...

"But I thought..." her brow was scrunched up confused.

"Neither boy requested that you not see it. It was only until the investigation finished that you were not allowed to view it," I answered her unspoken question.

I watched as she looked longingly at the TV screen even as it stood still blank. My students were waiting for her answer.

"Mrs. Midoriya, I think I speak for everyone when I say that it would be an honor if you would join us today. We watch it everyday. We are all here if you need us," Iida had stood up and bowed to the woman and as if on cue my entire class stood and bowed to the small woman.

I watched as her eyes filled with tears but she nodded quickly. "Yes, please." She was already starting to sob. I can't help thinking it was no wonder Young Midoriya was such a cry baby. He took after his mother in every way.

Just like everyday; All Might, Present Mic and Midnight arrived and took their places at the back of the class. Only Nezu didn't join us saying he couldn't watch what was probably the world's greatest heroes die again and again.

Once everyone was ready I nodded at Todoroki who then pushed play. We watched their final battle again, this time with Mrs. Midoriya's screams for mercy filling our ears. We hit pause many times and offered to stop for the day but she refused. She only needed a minute. When it was finally done her voice had given out screaming for her baby to come back to her. All unanswered but still, my students went to her. Comforting the woman in their shared grief.

It wasn't until after the video ended that little odds and ends started floating around the room. Wait what? "Uraraka now is not the time to be playing around," I groaned, not in the mood.

"Aizawa sensei it's not me," she answered instead. I watched as they seemed to swirl in the air gently and it hit me. What is Mrs. Midoriya's quirk? I turned to the crying woman who was currently holding onto Kirishima as if her life depended on it and I activated my quirk. Sure enough everything dropped to the ground but she didn't seem to notice.

The class took it in stride picking everything up without being told to. Kirishima is still locked in the woman's arms. He didn't fight her though, in fact he just let himself sob into her arms embracing the woman as if she were his own mother.

When she was finally done she turned and gave not only my students a sweet smile but also me and the other teachers.

"Please come to my house this Saturday. It is Izuku's 18th birthday and I would really rather not spend it alone." I stared at her in shock. But I couldn't deny her. My husband, Present Mic, came up and patted the woman on the back.

"We'll be there," he helped show her out of the room. Now that I think about it; her reactions throughout the whole video seemed to be too much. But then I would think of Young Midoriya and shake the thought away. The Midoriya's were truly something else, besides it was also her first time seeing it. I think back to when I first saw it, when it was actually happening. I was just as bad and if I had to guess by the way my students still sobbed even now I would say they were just as bad.

Could the Midoriya's actually feel all the emotions that everyone else ignored? Is that why they cried so much? I shake the thought from my head. That's nonsense, besides there is only one Midoriya left anyway. I wonder what happened to his father?

I'm standing by the school gates now, Mrs. Midoriya is leaving the school grounds to prepare for the party. When a kid with blue skin ran up to me. The kid couldn't be older than 8.

"Hey mister, are you a pro hero?" I nodded only a little confused how the kid was able to recognize me. "Which one are you?" He asked next, I narrowed my eyes a little. He didn't recognize me then. The kid had straight blond hair that was unsettling against his blue skin. He had little red horns on the top of his head and his eyes were bright red.

"I am Eraserhead," I said slowly, something about this kid was off. I just couldn't point out what.

"That's great mister, you're just the one I was looking for!" The kid cheered before rummaging in his pockets before he found what he was looking for. He pulled out a letter addressed to me but no sender.

"What is this?" I asked him hesitantly before taking the sealed envelope.

"It's a letter duh. Some guy told me it was a matter of life or death and to give it only to you," The kid shrugged before running off before I could say or ask anything else.

I searched the envelope the best I could but it seemed to only have a piece of paper inside. I went back to my now empty classroom and sat at my desk before opening it.

'Eraserhead,

Please understand I only speak the truth when I say this;

They are alive. The Heroes Deku and Dynamight are alive and I can prove it. But they can't come back until the villain is gone from their lives. Or it will only get worse. If everything goes well you might even be able to take out her boss, AFO, at the same time.

I know it's hard to believe but in two days I will send you a picture of them together while watching the news from tonight. Channel 1 at 10 PM. I will even include a bit of each of their hair.

Know this you can't take either the picture or the hair to anyone else because the villain will find out. She has spies everywhere. Right now she is pissed that she lost her two favorite sources of information.

I believe you know who she is but it doesn't matter unless she gets caught. The heroes will return only after she is put to death. Nothing less.

~ki~'

I reread the letter multiple times, can I believe it? Are my problem children actually alive?
