“You are staying at adjoining suites, so I will take everyone’s luggage, if that is okay,” Manny said.
Sheila and Pete moved closer, stopping their Snapchat session they’d just started when they arrived at the hotel. Manny grabbed their luggage and once everyone’s luggage was ready, Manny asked them all to follow him.
“Francesca and Lucinda have the owner’s suite,” Jizelle whispered to Adam as they were walking.
“Do they normally do the head bow thing around here?” Adam asked.
“It’s usually something Filipinos do among elders. Mostly in families, and mostly those who still practice a lot of the traditional customs. By doing the slight head bow, Manny was signaling he practices traditional customs.”
“I was wondering why it was Jojo,” Adam said.
