Alex had been visited by her new workers after a week of her waking up. Everyone was so happy to see her better that it made her cry sometimes, especially her mother. Nathan had refused to leave her side since her eyes open after surgery.
They had changed her room to a VIP where he could share her room.
"When is Cynthia coming to see me?" she asked him.
It was only her sister who had not appeared after she woke up. He turned to Roy who had just arrived.
He smiled passing an envelope to Nathan.
"She's just busy with the company but promised to come soon," he said to her.
"Oh, okay then send my greeting to her. I can't call her 'cause my phone got smashed when I collapsed" she said.
"I will" he said turning back to Nathan whose eyes were at the door.
They both knew Cynthia was outside listening, she always came with Roy but never stepped in.
Roy sighed as he remembered the day she watched the news about her mother.
"I feel more guilt now, I don't think I can face Alex again" she said.
"Why, it a not your fault but your mother" he had said.
Her teary eyes turned to him, "But am her accomplice, I knew all those nasty things she did and kept quiet. It lead to Dad's death and Alex losing everything it has a right to" she cried.
Roy frowned moving closer to her, "I will keep saying it, it a not your fault but hers. She manipulated you into her doing. But now you are free you can finally tell her everything"
"How can I, she had lost trust in me the moment she knew about Dad's cause of death & how I knew about it. So now if am to tell her everything that will happen to us, my relationship with her will never be the same" she cried.
Roy sighed holding her, "Take your time to think, it's still your choice and we both know it will hurt her if she finds out from someone else" he had said.
Cynthia had agreed to tell her after she woke up but every time she came, she failed to take further steps into her sister's room.
She could hear Alex ask Roy about her and send a greeting to her.
Tears flowed down her face.
Becca stood behind her, "It will keep haunting you unless you let it off your chest. Don't you think it's time she knows who the rightful owner of the White's fortune is and who her real father was"
