Unbreakable love: Only one I love

Alex had one goal in life to make enough money so she could give her mother a comfortable life. But her efforts always seemed less fruitful even with her adoptive father and step-sister by her side. "Am not crying, just got something in my eye " Alex sniffed. "Am sorry, here is something that might help" the stranger said passing his handkerchief. "Thank you," she said taking it. After wiping the falling tears she turned to look at the stranger. His long brown hair was moving with the breeze around him as his dark orbs stared down at her. He bent down took his hankie and gently wiped the still falling tears from her eyes, "you missed a spot" he smiled. She smiled remembering that night, it was the day she had met him. Nathan Livingston. The man who claimed to only have eyes for her and soon had proved it.

Go See Her

Alex got out of the bathroom but stopped midway, her head was hurting again.

"Hmmm," she groaned as she tried to find something to lean on.

"I told you to call me if you needed to get up," a voice said as strong arms carried her.

She opened her eyes to see Nathan's angry face, holding on to him she smiled.

"I thought I could do it, but...."

"But you're still weak, the doctor advised you not to do too much or move unnecessarily" he said placing her down on the bed.

"I know but I had to go to the bathroom and you were busy in the kitchen," she said... "I hate being a bother to...." he stopped her.

"Don't even say it, this is my responsibility as your boyfriend so please bother me as much as you can?" he said.

She leaned back and sighed, "Why do I have such a nice boyfriend?"

"Cause you deserve it, and am more than happy to do it" he said covering her. "Should I bring you your dinner, it's ready"

She nodded, "Did Mom and Dad leave?"

"Mmm, they left as soon as you fell asleep but something is going on I don't understand between them" he frowned.

Alex chuckled, "You know but don't want to accept it"

He frowned even more, "Let me get your phone" he got up walking away. Alex giggled.

.....

"Have you gone to see her yet?" Roy asked Cynthia.

"No, I can't seem to. I guess am selfish like my mother, I know it's wrong but I don't want to let all this go" she said.

Roy gazed around the huge office and sighed, "What do you think your sister will do if she finds out? Do you think she's cruel enough to shun you away after finding out the truth?"

Cynthia blinked, "Alex isn't like that"

"Then tell her, if your sure she's the sister you grew up with. Kind and pure then tell her the truth. She will understand we all know how she has a soft spot for you" he said.

Cynthia bit her lips, "Am scared Roy, really scared"

"About what, the outcome?".

"Yeah but mostly how everyone will see us. Me, my mother and father, and I shamelessly took everything from them and still made them suffer so much. Alex will never forgive me" The tears in her eyes showed how sad she was.

"Well if your parents started this sin you need to stop it and repent for it. It's the only way to have a better future and carefree life now. It's eating you alive you just don't want to accept it" said Roy.

Cynthia fell silent.

Roy got up, "I would stay longer but the boss needs me, he wants to take Miss Alex out for some air"

Cynthia glanced up at him, "Oh, okay".

"Do you want to tag along, I know the boss won't mind it. I think he would like it since Miss Alex has been asking about you" he said.

"You think so, but.." she said.

"You can just go see your sister, nothing more. You don't need to tell her now if you're not ready, just go see her" he said.

Cynthia smiled wiping her tears, "Okay, I think I can do that"
