The truth

As he entered through the room, Airon encountered Tyler and Nara who were quietly discussing important matters. When he saw this, he asked them, "Tyler, have you heard back from Mike's team?" 

Hearing this question, Tyler nodded and then said, "Yes, Mike along with Karla arrived at Woodbury and quickly subdued the remaining guards on site before imprisoning them. In Mike's words, Karla managed to persuade all the survivors and with the recordings they took, they all realized the truth and seemed to be on our side." 

"As you ordered, the people closest to the Governor were placed under observation and immediately incarcerated. For now, Mike is organizing that whole group of survivors to be transferred to the prison sometime later." 

When Tyler finished saying this, he smiled and said, "I really didn't expect everything to turn out this way, but we must act carefully and watch that whole group of survivors that will be added to the prison." 

Airon naturally knew about this matter so he nodded. Then, he walked inside where the people were gathered and after gaining all the looks in his direction he said, "Listen everyone, as planned and with everyone's joint effort we have managed to defeat the enemy." 

When everyone heard these words, everyone was silent for a moment before bursting into cheers and celebrations, everyone clapped and hugged each other. 

"Well done!" 

"We were sure you would make it!" 

"We won!" 

Seeing the situation so lively, Airon smiled with happiness, this happiness that very rarely welled up inside him seeing all those happy families and children celebrating for things they most likely didn't understand. 

After being distracted for a few moments, Airon raised his hands to ask for silence and then said, "The most important thing is that none of our people have died, some were injured but they are not in danger!" 

"We won't have to hide anymore!" 

"At last we can work in peace!" 

"For now it is not advisable to leave this place yet, once we decide what will happen to the prisoners and clean the place, everyone will be able to return to their activities freely." 

When Airon finished saying that, he walked back towards the exit of the prison, this was also done to wait for the other people to recover their body mobility due to the sedative that was injected. 

At the same time, he would also make time for them to make a decision next, this time it was the only time they would be asked if they would stay in the prison or leave this place. 

Shane, who was waiting at the door, looked at Airon and said, "Airon! Are you sure you will let them go?" 

"Of course not, if they decide to leave the prison, they will definitely die." Airon only replied a few simple words and after earning Shane's nod, the two walked towards Rick. 

"Well gentlemen, right now the time has come to decide what will happen to you next, pay attention to the words as they will decide the future of each of you!" 

When Airon paused, he looked at Rick and said, "You can explain to our friends what will happen next." 

"Okay, Airon!" Rick, who was very calm and happy that he could have solved this problem without any allied casualties, so his gaze turned to the group of people on their knees in the main square. 

Not wanting to delay this, Rick said, "Woodbury survivors! I'm Rick Grimes, and today I got the unpleasant news that a group of people were about to attack our shelter! You may be wondering, why didn't we kill them? But you are now gathered here waiting, and that's very simple, we are not like you." 

"You must understand that we never sought you out, we never attacked you and the only thing we did was defend ourselves. I am against killing people, I always believe that there are more good people than bad in this world, but that doesn't mean that today it will prevent me from changing my mind and doing what I have to do to get my enemies off my back." 

After talking about many things, these Woodbury people understood what happened after Rick showed them the evidence that existed. Except for a dozen or so of the staff closest to Martinez and the Governor, the rest of these people showed expressions of righteous indignation. 

Then, by Michonne's words, they understood that many of them were misled by the Governor's words and their own recklessness in having such a snap judgment about what had actually happened. 

She told everyone what she and her friend Janet had suffered, how they were taken to Woodbury against their will at the simple whims of the Governor.

Many people knew Karen, if she had made the decision to trust these people after living in this shelter for a long time, they had nothing left to do but wait and see how things would develop next.

Now, the people were scared to have risked their lives and many died believing they were fighting the enemies of their shelter. If the people of this place used live ammunition instead of anesthesia, they would have been dead by now.

All the people of Airon were also waiting to see what the leaders would decide on what to do with all these people. To tell the truth, none of them wanted to kill them in cold blood, so they could only leave the final decision to their leaders. 

This was to be expected, not everyone had the heart or had suffered enough to decide to kill with words alone, it can be said that they have been lucky so far because of the people leading them.
