Gu Xin Ye opened her mouth a few times, but seeing the look on Qin Zhan's face made her stop herself. The man seemed to be too deep in his thought and she did not want to disturb him.
Just then, the phone in her hand buzzed.
Gu Xin Ye clicked on the notification and saw Lin Qiao's message, asking her if it was convenient for her to talk.
Pursing her lips, Gu Xin Ye glanced at Qin Zhan again. Seeing that the man was still focusing on his driving, Gu Xin Ye then returned Lin Qiao's message and told her that she would return her call when she was free.
The journey back to Z Town was quiet.
After a long drive, the car finally stopped in front of the B&B.
Gu Xin Ye turned to Qin Zhan and spoke, "Boss Qin, thank you for the ride." She hesitated for a few seconds before speaking again, "You... Are you alright?"
Qin Zhan flashed a faint smile at her. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it."
