I Miss You
"Xin Ye," Shen Yi Nian greeted her friend cheerfully. She walked to the corner so that she would not block the people from passing through the entrance.
"Nian Nian, you sounded like you're in a good mood," Gu Xin Ye spoke. "Something good happened?"
Shen Yi Nian suddenly remembered the patient who told her she did not have to worry about him. The smile on her face disappeared. However, Shen Yi Nian was doing her best to control her emotions. "No. Just listening to your voice made me happy."
Gu Xin Ye clicked her tongue. "When did you learn how to sweet talk?"
The two friends laughed.
Shen Yi Nian pressed the phone to her ear and heard the noise on Gu Xin Ye's side. "Xin Ye? Where are you? It's too noisy over there."
She could hear some people talking in the background. The atmosphere was quite lively. Shen Yi Nian guessed that Gu Xin Ye should be outside.
"What do you think?" Gu Xin Ye chuckled. "I'm at the night market."
