The Apocalypse Starts (V)

For some strange reason Ace was only able to focus on Will's food whilst he was eating. It was like someone was whispering in his mind,

'That is the same type of food you would like right? You want to try it but you are to shy of social criticism!' 

Slowly but surely time passed by and without even realizing it he was already done with his food. At this moment he couldn't help but smile and shape his head as he looked at Will who had also finished his food at the same time. This guy surely was good with food.

Will had the perfect contradictory behavior for someone from a wealthy background. He was most unethical person Ace had seen; especially in their circle of life. Ace slightly shook his head expelling all the unimportant thoughts as he stood up to leave.

"Can you for a sec?" Will Said cleaning his lips with a napkin. He had returned to his clean, handsome and elegant self now. In fact if anyone saw him right now, no one would believe that he was the boy who was just chomping on a large plate of food just now.

"Where are you going?" Will asked when Ace didn't respond. 

"To Class," Ace replied rather calmly.

"What… You are that eager to go to class? Like, It's not even break over yet. What about we take a tour around the school? I know a little about this school so I can show you around," Will asked with a smile on his face, as he stood from his chair.

"Mm… okay," Ace agreed. It wouldn't hurt to go for a small tour. Even though he had been to this school before, he was never a student here. He just came here because he wanted to start his plan here. Since Will's offer aligned with his plan, there was no need for him to refuse at all. 

Will nodded gratefully and beckoned Ace to follow him with his hand. However, right at this moment, Someone tapped Ace on the shoulder. Turning around, Ace saw a teenage boy looking back at him. 

Ace's first impression when he saw the teenager was that he looked very identical to Mrs Eleazer. He had the same bright red hair that Mrs Eleazer had. He was like the male variant of Mrs Eleazer. 

Another thing caught the attention of Ace though and that was that the guy was actually wearing a golden senior's badge meaning he was senior! And not just any type of senior. He had a special identity.

"Are you Ace?" The teenager asked with his nose almost poking into the sky.

'Arrogant' 

That was the first word that popped into Ace's head when he head the boy's voice. He initially had a good impression of him because of his looks. However, the guy destroyed every last bit of good impression he had of him with his words.

"That's Ryan. He's a senior and a family member of Mrs Eleazer, you should be careful," Will whispered. Ace didn't reply but Ryan who seemed to have heard what Will said nodded appreciably and asked,

"And who are you?"

"William…"

"You are the young master of the green family, I see," Ryan interrupted Will rudely before turning to Ace. "Follow me"

Ace just nodded and followed. Just before he left though, Will slightly tapped him before whispering a few words in his ears. Ace mere nodded and continued to follow Ryan out of the room.

Ryan and Ace soon exited the cafeteria and continued to walk towards one of the most scary buildings in the school, The Teacher's Flat. 

The Teacher's Flat or The Flat of Monsters as the students called it, was the building where all the teacher's offices were located. These offices of course included the Principal's office too.

However, this wasn't the reason why students were so afraid of entering this building. The main reason was because the disciplinary council also existed here! Because of this no student wanted to be called into the building. After all, no one wanted to get expelled from the school.

Ace and Ryan continued to walk in uninterrupted silence as they made their way towards the Teacher's Flat. Ryan not being able to endure the silence anymore decided to speak,

"Do you know where you are going to?"

"Teacher's Flat?" Ace replied.

"Not the Disciplinary committee? How can you be so confident?" Ryan asked in surprise. He was silently shocked by Ace's confidence. After all, most of the students who were called to the Teachers' Flat will be scared witless by now. 

"I don't think I have done anything wrong to be sent to the disciplinary committee," Ace replied. That wasn't the main reason why he was so confident though. 

The reason why he was so confident was because of what Will told him before they parted away. Will told him that he was most likely being called by Miss Eleazer because the disciplinary committee never sent students to call their 'preys'….

Moreover with Ryan's relationship with Mrs Eleazer it wasn't that difficult to find out who was looking for him. 

"You are right. I don't know why my Auntie finds you interesting but you have to be careful," Ryan replied with a slight chuckle seemingly amused by Ace's reply.

"Interesting?" Ace asked without showing any emotions on his face. Why would Miss Eleazer find him interesting even though they just met?

"Yeah, she was the one who told me to come call you," Ryan said as they entered the building. Ace merely smiled and didn't respond.

Ace was slightly shocked as they entered the building. The Teacher's Flat was very spacious on the inside. The first thing one would see upon entering was the lift at the opposite end of the hall. Turning slightly to the left, one would see an attendant looking directly at them.

Ace and Ryan walked towards the woman who Ryan introduced to Ace as Mrs Mason. Soon enough they boarded the Lift as they went to the third floor.

After reaching their destination, Ryan went to the 3rd room before knocking on the door.

"Hm?" A beautiful voice graced their ears.

"It's me Ryan. I brought him…" Ryan said.

"Let him in, you can go," the voice from the room repeated.

"Hm," Ryan nodded to Ace before leaving him and heading towards the lift again.

Ace also returned the nod before opening the door to the room.
