Unexpected meeting

A/N:I wonder if you guys were expecting me to write another chapter

Visions appear in my mind, I can't piece together what it means, the images move by too fast to get a clear meaning of what they mean, the most I could understand is that danger is coming and it won't end well.

"[COM]We've arrived in the Hades Gamma cluster, which system should we check out first?

I was awakened from my sleep by our helmsman, although I wished for him not to wake me through our earpiece since we arrived at the cluster I had to wake up and get ready for the landing

"Let's go check the Chaco system and tell the engineers the prepare the Mako"

"Be ready for drop, in 10 minutes"

"Vakarian, Wrex suit up, we're going planetside"

[POV Vakarian]

"[COM]Vakarian, Wrex suit up, we're going planetside"

"Seems like we're going this time Wrex"

"Hah, You better bring a barf bag"

Well, we already were since our armor is what is worn during our off period, the only time we aren't wearing our armor is during formal events or taking care of our daily needs.

(10 minutes after landing)

[POV ???](You should know)

"How did we miss this place?"

"Wellll with your "Professional" driving skills it's no wonder we missed this place"

"Ah shut it Vakarian"

"hahaha"

We entered the underground base and checked our corners, it was quiet which usually signified a deserted place or lousy idiots that don't know we're here. Passing by and going through the hallway, we swiftly opened the door and saw two guys who also saw us. We opened fire before they could react.

*BEW**BEW**BEW**BEW**BEW*

An alarm sounded throughout the facility. We were already past the two corpses and into a large room that contained empty prison cells and a bunch of Cerberus goons that were trying to stop us.

"Hey Commander, you got plan cause we're being surrounded"

"Hah watch how it's done, princess. Come on meat bags I'm right here"

Our krogan ally ran out of cover and began to run toward the goons with a shotgun, he headbutted one of them which made his helmet fly off and shot him. With the krogan on a rampage, we went out of cover to kill the Cerberus goons, the turian being a great marksman quickly snipes 3 goons in succession while I fire my AR at the ones distracted by the incoming krogan.

And adding salt to the wound, I threw a grenade behind their cover forcing them to either die from the explosion or come out of cover towards the krogan, me, and our wonderful marksman. Either way, death would only meet them in the eye.

(a few minutes later)

Bodies were spewed everywhere, it was a one-sided massacre for Cerberus if they were anyone else I'd feel bad for them but I don't because of their affiliation. We were about to move on and explore the rest of the facility when Wrex stopped near the bodies.

*Sniff**Sniff**Sniff**Sniff*

"Wrex, don't tell me your hungry"

Vakarian said in slight disgust

"Huh? No... *Sniff* these bodies smell too fresh... way too fresh like they were just born"

"Fresh?"

I wondered if that was Wrex's way of calling them weak and inexperienced or if there was something more sinister in play here, cloning could explain why they could smell fresh. With that in mind, I kneeled and closely looked at some of the soldiers, and found that all were completely identical minus one since he was unfortunate to have his skull bashed in by Wrex.

I expected that the facility had one subject and that the number of clones that were fought just now means that they only started using the clones as cannon fodder. Heading forward to the next room, we entered another room that also had a prison. 4 of the cells contained people in there. I gripped my AR in anger.

"Vakarian, pull any information you can from the CDC and set these kids free"

"Right away"

He quickly accessed the CDC when I heard quick footsteps coming towards my left. I turned and pointed my gun in the direction of the footsteps and what came out was a man in his 50s looking scared and seeing us he was terrified.

"Alliance military, on your knees Now!!"

"W-wait don't shoot, I'll tell you everything about Cerberus just get me outta here"

I stared at him with my gun pointed at him, I wondered what could've scared this guy before he came to us. My question was answered when he was suddenly pulled back from where he came from with biotic

"Help me!! Help M-*Slash"

"You stole 10 years of my life, I'm gonna make sure your employer loses 10 years of his resources"

Soon his body was thrown back where he was and out from the hallway was... A naked teenager?

Well I managed to catch up to him thanks to the intruders, question is how am I going to talk seriously while being completely naked
